Beautiful, wonderful location, wonderful concert

Despite being busy and occupied by parking, it remains a beautiful square.

We parked here for the daily rate of 6 euros, very convenient. We then toured the city on foot and by public transport.

Between 1927 and 1928, the Bisagno stream was covered, and urban planning changes defined the square's current layout. The Victory Arch, dedicated to the fallen of the Great War (made of white Carrara marble, with bas-reliefs depicting Hunger, Peace, and Work), was inaugurated on May 31, 1931. Around the arch are the Staircase of the Unknown Soldier (known as the "Caravels" for its floral decoration depicting Columbus's three ships), which connects the square to the Carignano hill, as well as buildings such as the Andrea Doria High School and the Police Headquarters, included in the 1932 Master Plan.

Beautiful square with the central monument to the unknown soldier, where a real flame burns perpetually, easy parking but paid, from there you find yourself in the heart of the city center.
