28/06/2025: First of all: I never start with preconceptions about a place where I go for the first time. That said, I found heterogeneity in the staff, the girls were all nice, elegant and courteous, some of the male waiters were very distinguished, a couple of elements, however, a little dissonant with the environment and the slightly glamorous atmosphere that you breathe. Apart from this, they satisfied all our requests. Not that we had asked for the moon, but it happened in other places that they treated us with condescension, well, it doesn't happen here. You feel pampered because the behaviors are affable and kind. Regarding the wines, if I could write a judgment on the wine list, mine would certainly be high, also for the expertise and professionalism of the person who, I believe, is a sommelier, who opened us an excellent bottle of Costasera Masi 2018 and expertly prepared the glasses to welcome this nectar of the gods! The appetizers were delicious. Balanced tartare with a special flavour thanks to the addition of capers, of excellent quality. Confit cherry tomatoes that “sinned” only in quantity!!! Tasty and light Apulian bombetta. The side dishes were also pleasant, everything was fresh and, if it wasn’t, it seemed so, both to the sight and to the taste, ergo, fine as it was. The meats….the only punctum dolens: they didn’t correspond in taste to the pleasant sensation of the sight: that is, they were more beautiful than good! I would have preferred my fillet a little higher and more raw, my request at the order had been: not rare, more, almost raw! My companion’s Simmental was also cooked a little more than the rare one, the marbling and consistency of the fat were good, but the pulp wasn’t very tasty. The dessert was a fashion rocher, balanced and the right size. The bill was under €230 and they reduced it to €210 and that's fine, if only the wine alone cost €60, WELL DESERVED!!! And in any case, loving Amarone, we were well aware of the amount of the expense, in addition to it being clearly indicated on the menu, like all the dishes, another point in favor of the seriousness and professionalism of the place. Unfortunately I always like to be able to give my best, but from this first experience I was unable to draw an excellent judgment....maybe a second visit will be needed....and we will make the sacrifice, I hope soon!!🤣🤣🤣
