New management, clean place and young staff, outdoor tables with service. Croissants, sandwiches, and small delicatessen. In good weather, excellent in the morning for outdoor breakfasts, as in the afternoon for an aperitif.

Great place! Excellent coffee and pastries, friendly and helpful staff (they advised us how to get to Rome, where to buy bus tickets, where to change trains, etc.)

31/08/2024: The only knock on this bar (speakeasy if you reach it from the restaurant) is the drink prices…they’re pretty steep for Rome (think almost NYC prices). However, the cocktails are good and innovative and the atmosphere is awesome!

28/07/2024: The food here was so good that we came back again, despite the vast choice of other restaurants in the area. Even though it's located next to the Piazza del Popolo, this restaurant was certainly not a tourist trap - it was full of well-dressed locals. It's certainly not cheap, but the quality justifies the prices. The service was outstanding, and the food was amazing, bringing even regular Italian staples to a higher plane - for example, "the best lasagna ever" according to my son!
