Mizuna Japanese Restaurant In Olbia

Mizuna is a great place to eat great Japanese food. However, if you make our mistake of being guided by a pressing Japanese/Neapolitan waiter, to whom you point out that you don't want raw meats, who decides a "route" for you and essentially brings mostly raw meats (the mistake on our part was not send it back) and the only thing you ask for explicitly arrives only at the end after a firm request well...get ready because the bite they will give you with the bill will be really out of place (€150 per person...). In short, I don't think we'll go back again.

Insane food. The best gyoza i have ever eaten. fish was fresh af. japanese interiors. 100/10.

With sushi being my wife’s favorite food, we are always in search of good sushi restaurants no matter where we go. So when we stumbled upon Mizuna, we originally didn’t know what to expect from a Japanese restaurant situated on an Italian island, but man were we utterly astounded. Not only was the sushi one of, if not the, best we’ve had in all of Europe, but the service was exceptional. The staff truly made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond to fully complete this wonderful experience. Would highly recommend Mizuna to anyone visiting Sardinia!

Food is great but some staff is quite pretentious. Our particular waiter scoffed after we had already ordered four dishes and when asked if we wanted anything else, we said no thank you. I’m not sure why anyone feels the need to comment on how much food is being consumed by the customer? Some accountability for disrespect should be taken at some point.

Our favorite Japanese restaurant! Every summer a fixed appointment that never leaves us dissatisfied. Beautiful atmosphere and impeccable food, which combines authentic and original recipes with local products from the Sardinian territory. Absolutely worth trying, you won't be disappointed!

Excellent dinner, from the great food to the extensive menu. We were a party of 5, an attentive staff happy to help, standing near by but never stopping our conversation or atmosphere.

We came here based on a recommendation of a local fisherman and it was worth every penny. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere and is truly an experience. Great variety of local caught fresh seafood, which is prepared with attention to detail and great composition of flavours. The preparation of the sardines we had was flawless, we never had sardines that tasted that good! Book a table in advance and enjoy the experience! Special thanks to our waiter Antonio who made the evening perfect!

What an amazing surprise to find fantastic Japanese food in Sardinia. Mix the Italian savoir faire and Japanese cuisine and it’s gold! The drinks are a must and the eggplant is out of this world. Great service too. A must visit in the north of Sardinia.

Sì, una bella sorpresa. San Pantaleo sempre più al vertice. Un ottimo ristorante giapponese ci mancava in costa Smeralda. Gestito da due fratelli napoletani, Vincenzo che ti accoglie con garbo e professionalità e il fratello Luigi in cucina. Il locale è molto bello e raffinato. Ottimo il servizio è corretti i prezzi. Purtroppo hanno solamente un ramen, ma è veramente eccellente. Le tartare, gli uramaki saporiti grazie a una ottima scelta di materie prime. Buona la carta dei vini. Sono andato già tre volte e ci tornerò. Bravi ragazzi

We had a fantastic dinner at Mizuna! The staff were so friendly and attentive and explained and recommended dishes whilst we were deciding what to eat, then explained each dish as it came out. We had several different types of sushi including those less common to us such as razor clam and some locally caught Sardinian fish such as sardines. The food was exceptional and, as others have mentioned, a little pricey but definitely worth it! I would recommend the aubergine (Nasu miso), this was the most delicious aubergine we had ever eaten. The drinks were equally good and we tried two of the cocktails and a bottle of sake that was recommended by one of the waiters. All together great meal and experience, would definitely recommend!
