Miramare In

Not a bad hotel. Very close to the station. The only flaw was that the room was very small.

The Miramare Hotel is truly a gem, but it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Located on the seafront, with a breathtaking view and well-connected to all amenities and the main establishments, you can even forget about needing a car! Our room was a superior one with a sea view and a very nice little terrace overlooking the seafront and the spectacular view of the coast. The main problem with this place is that it hasn't adapted to today's times and hotel trends; it feels like we're reliving the '90s. The furnishings are dated, and the services aren't yet digital. The staff was extremely kind, even letting us leave our bikes in the courtyard. We received Wi-Fi via a ticket (a bit inconvenient, but still useful). The lady serving breakfast is a must-have for this place, but the breakfast itself left a lot to be desired; a few tweaks would make a difference. We stayed for a week; there was no breakfast variety, no savory options except toast, ham, and cheese, mostly of very poor quality. A few times we arrived a little late, and some guests even ran out of pastries, having to settle for toast or other packaged products. Furthermore, twice we found yesterday's pastries and croissants, inedible, and the lady, clearly embarrassed, had to turn people away at 10:00 (breakfast room closing time) because she had to close. You can't do that in a hotel that is supposed to welcome and treat guests as best as possible! Closing serves no purpose, except annoying the people still there eating their meals. I believe the problem lies with management; there are signs at reception warning guests not to leave valuables unattended, as the hotel disclaims all liability. It doesn't work that way, and it's impossible to justify any theft by internal staff by washing your hands of it. This hotel truly has enormous potential, what a shame!

Very friendly staff all over, we enjoyed the food very much, nice to meet real italiens. The hotel is pretty old but thats part of the charm. The rooms are clean and we slept well. It was perfect for going to the beach accross the road and going to rome by train in 40min was also quite handy. If you want to experience Italy I would recommend this place, don‘t expect too much for 3 stars but we were more than happy for the price.

I came back after years and I have to say that they have made a leap in quality: the room had a new bathroom, the TV before was microbe now instead it is big with Skype too... even if I don't watch TV at the beach. The breakfast has become truly continental! Friendly staff. The atmosphere of a small 60's guesthouse has remained, like the Maigret films, and I like that a lot... I recommend it.

As soon as we entered the room, we were hit by a terrible stench, almost unbreathable. It really seemed like the smell of something dead. The air conditioning didn't work and, when we asked to change rooms, we were told to close the doors and windows and leave it on for an hour. The result? We almost suffocated in a tiny room, maybe four feet tall. They agreed to change our room only after we got really angry. When the gentleman from the staff came in and smelled the smell too, he made a disgusted face. They wanted to change the room for just one night, and then move us again the next day. The girl at the reception was really unpleasant, she looked at us condescendingly and started laughing. She really had the look of someone who doesn't care about customers. We lost an entire day of vacation because of this absurd situation. The breakfast included was normal, nothing exciting, the lady in the canteen was very nice. The vending machines a little less I wanted a coffee they took my money and I didn't even get the coffee. But they gave me back the euro the gentlemen of the staff were very kind Then to make sure we didn't miss anything the electricity also went out for 2/3 days but this didn't depend on them. I am very pleased with my stay at this hotel. The reception was nice and helpful. Even one gentleman spoke Polish. After checking out, we could still leave our luggage and walk around the city. The price with breakfast was decent. In addition to sweet snacks for breakfast [as in Italy], there were also savory options (ham, cheese, butter, wheat and whole grain bread), the lady serving the room made everyone delicious coffee. The room was clean and sufficient for relaxation. The beach was literally next door. You can literally go out in flip-flops. However, the hotel beach area is a separate part and you have to pay for a sunbed/umbrella to stay there. There is a public beach next door which is ideal for a blanket and relaxation. I highly recommend it to everyone, it came to 190€ with tax for two nights with breakfast. It's a pity we couldn't stay longer. Greetings from Poland ❤️
