Metropolitan Cafè In Genova

I was in Genova for 4 days in early August. Stopped in here for a quick afternoon drink. Barman, top notch. Waitress, although dealing with a relationship issue, top notch. Loved it. Went back 3 times before I left Genova. Atmosphere, drinks and food were so good. On my list of places to return too.

I accompanied a friend without buying anything. They were very kind, though. Friends go often, so I give it a positive rating.

Stopped off here while we waited for the restraunt we had booked to open. Had the apperitivo (small) which was great value.

Early afternoon, I sat on the terrace of this lovely café. Enjoying a good glass of wine, I read a book on this terrace in Genoa's city center. My wine came with a bowl of chips and a bowl of olives. After a while, I asked for the menu and enjoyed a delicious Parma ham with melon. The price was very reasonable. The terrace is nice, but the trendy café also looks very inviting. The service was also excellent! December 30, 2023 I've been to this café regularly. I had breakfast there yesterday morning and had a glass of wine in the early evening. The appetizers served with it were very extensive. The staff had a sense of humor and were very friendly and helpful. July 21, 2025 Whenever I'm in Genoa, I always stop by this café. Delicious wine. Good food and tasty appetizers, and the service, as always, was pleasant and friendly.

A lovely cafe with a cozy atmosphere. The food was good, but the burger was less than delicious: far too much sauce and the meat was tough, according to my daughter. The roast beef sandwich and the chicken sandwich, on the other hand, were delicious. The service was very friendly and helpful.
