Definitely a great hotel. A little pricey, like all of South Tyrol, but worth it. It's lovely to wake up during a heavy snowfall.

Nice place to stay near Bolzano. Train station is just 3 min walk. Food and breakfast was nice but very less options for vegetarians. Rooms were nice, spacious and very clean. Staff were nice and helpful. Only drawback is they are not providing free visitors pass for tourists as they are not part of that program. So you have to buy the travel pass separately.

All in all, it's okay, but quite expensive and with a few drawbacks, such as having to drag your luggage 300m through dark alleys because, contrary to what was said before, your own small underground garage doesn't have enough space after all...

The hotel is in a great location right off the highway. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. It's also convenient for those who work nearby, and a great place to enjoy an afternoon aperitivo.

The hotel is strategically located just a few meters from the Bolzano Sud train station. A fantastic stay! The reception staff was extremely courteous, as were the spa staff. The spa, wellness center, and pool are truly beautiful, and located on the top floor, with an incredible panoramic view. A formally 4-star hotel with 5-star services! The continental breakfast was excellent and plentiful, top-quality.

18/08/2025: We visited the Pienzenau Restaurant in Merano on a balmy summer evening last week and were thrilled from the start. The stunning location, nestled between the vineyards and the old town of Merano, impressed us. The magnificent garden surrounding the property is a true gem and invites you to linger. Our seat on the terrace offered a wonderful view of the property and garden – a perfect setting for a special evening. The hostess and her team welcomed us warmly, immediately creating a familiar and homely atmosphere. Culinary delights left nothing to be desired: We enjoyed a fantastic three-course menu that will remain with us forever. The taste, quality, and presentation were of the highest standard. The team was also perfectly prepared for my gluten-free requests – without any prior notice. We would especially like to mention the young ladies in the waiting room – incredibly attentive, courteous, and always warm. All in all, it was an evening we will cherish for a long time to come. One thing's for sure: We'll be back! And next time, we'll take the opportunity to stay at the Hotel Pienzenau. See you soon! Carolin & Christian from Lüneburg Heath

20/01/2026: Excellent base in Bolzano. I stayed 10 nights in one of their apartments, and it was exactly what I wanted: quiet, clean, and well-equipped. Everything felt thoughtfully set up for a longer stay, and the overall vibe was calm and comfortable. The only small downside is that there isn’t a washing machine in the apartment, which you really notice on a 10-day trip. But local businesses are available to fill the gap. What truly sets Hotel Feichter apart, though, is that it’s family-owned and operated. This shows in the best way. It’s obvious the people working there are family members who genuinely enjoy being together; that warmth carries over to guests. The included breakfast is fantastic. Great selection, beautifully done, and the hosts will make espresso or cappuccino to order, which became a daily highlight. I’ll stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, welcoming, high-quality place in Bolzano.
