It remains one of the best pizzerias in the northern province of Rome.
And in fact gourmet pizzas are something unique, truly worth trying.
But a little something has changed over the years:
The most obvious aspect is the marked increase in prices, the most interesting pizzas are at €25/28 and in general the menu has all increased significantly.
Then the attention to detail has waned a little, the cooking sometimes takes a little too long (perhaps just a little is enough because they are double-cooked pizzas).
The place is nice and clean, the young staff is courteous and efficient.

Sono tornato da Mater dopo un pó di anni che mancavo da Fiano....stesso piacere di gustare le loro proposte, non sono minimamente scesi di livello e di passione che mettono nei loro piatti .
Chiamarla pizza è estremamente riduttivo perché si può affermare che sia cucina proposta sui loro impasti .
Una bella esperienza proposta con simpatia e professionalità.

I had already been there before the gourmet transformation at Mater a few years ago... the pizzas are amazing, a relaxing environment where you can talk without shouting, incredible desserts, certainly we are not talking about the usual pizzas... and the final bill is not the usual one pizzeria, but if you want a different experience without paying attention to the bill, I would say that Mater represents an obligatory choice...

Each visit is a new successful taste experience...the love that Amalia and her staff put into the search for new combinations on the now indisputable dough (unsurpassed!) is perceived everywhere...you don't come here to eat a pizza here you come to enjoy the best that passion, combined with the quality of the products that our country offers us, can express. Amalia, don't abandon this philosophy...good food is only for a few!!!

Thanks to our friends, we ate some SUPER SUPER pizza, a special place with superlative knowledge of the products, a real tasting of pizza with many varieties. We will be back soon.

Tried it many times because now I know where to go to eat a fantastic pizza for the raw materials and the fabulous dough..
The price is high but it is completely justified.. accompanied by a good wine if you take a pizza with prawns or with a good beer for any other type..
The desserts are also excellent and the fried dishes are equally excellent (you have to take the gricia timbale which is disgusting, you will always want more)... a crunchy and dry breading for supplì and the same for beautiful golden chips.
Truly recommended!
