This is one of those places that stays in your heart, as well as your mind, where you can't wait to return. There's a soul, even before the raw ingredients, expertly blended by Amalia and explained by her husband Fabio, and it all comes through in every bite.
The fried foods are exquisite, sophisticated combinations combined with a delicate crunchiness.
The pizza is the highlight. The dough is incredible; despite the ancient grain flours, the leavening is perfect, with a honeycomb structure, and it's cooked to perfection, providing a unique crunchiness, softness, and digestibility. The pairings are designed to complete the work of art, from delicate raw shrimp to (very light) fried eggplant.
Last but not least, the softness of its dough is reflected in the slice of cake with custard: impossible to explain in words, even a taste alone would be worth the whole dinner.
In short, the 3 red prawn slices are, for me, a worthy recognition for a courageous, characterful, and above all, exquisite pizzeria.

The best pizza I've ever eaten! Behind every dish is study, research, passion, and craftsmanship. A highly refined combination of flavors, the pizza is made with ancient grains and sourdough, an incredible blend of softness and crunchiness. Not to mention the service: extraordinary kindness, warmth, and professionalism. At the end, we even had the honor of meeting Chef Amalia and congratulating her in person on her masterpieces.
The menu is updated and includes numerous vegetarian and vegan options, including appetizers, pizzas, and desserts! We had the scapece (vegan) and violetta (vegetarian) appetizers, followed by two vegan pizzas, the elixir and verdure tua. Everything was delicious. Even more so for those who understand culinary science and the elements of fine dining. As for the desserts, including vegan ones, we were unfortunately too full, but we will definitely be back and can't wait! Highly recommended! Well done!

The owner Amalia welcomed us with great enthusiasm in her pizzeria, demonstrating a deep passion for her work. Congratulations also to her husband who accompanied us along the tasting path, illustrating all the preparations born from the creativity and imagination of the chef.
It must be emphasized that the pizza dough is prepared in a masterly way, the pizzas are light and crunchy as only the great masters know how to do and Amalia has nothing to envy anyone.
We tried several creations and were pleasantly surprised by every taste.
Congratulations to the whole group, I sincerely hope that the attention to detail always remains the same. We will see each other soon

Excellent gourmet pizzeria in Fiano Romano, just outside of northern Rome. Very nice and intimate place with part of the kitchen open to the public. Very good and truly special pizzas, although the formula of not being able to choose a pizza each put us in crisis (this only happens if there are more than 10 of you, given the complexity of the pizzas).
Also the fried foods are excellent, although small for the price. In general, a place with above-average prices that offers service and product quality that are well above average. It is an experience to do at least once to try these combinations studied in the smallest detail

Una piacevolissima scoperta a Fiano Romano! La pizzeria Mater conquista subito con un ambiente curato e accogliente, perfetto sia per una cena informale che per una serata tra amici. La pizza è davvero eccellente: impasto leggero e ben lievitato, ingredienti freschissimi e combinazioni di sapori originali ma equilibrate. Ottima anche la selezione di birre artigianali e dolci fatti in casa. Il personale è gentile, veloce e sempre disponibile. Consigliatissima per chi cerca qualità e passione in ogni dettaglio!

Ottima pizzeria.
Impasto della pizza una nuvola, leggerissimo e buono.
Ottimi anche i condimenti delle pizze, pure abbondanti.
Tris di supplì fritti uno più buono dell'altro, letteralmente (mia classifica: bufalino, classico, cacio e pepe).
Molto buone anche le polpette vegane su crema di ceci.
Abbiamo preso IPA alla spina che era molto buona, giusto un po' troppo fredda ma quelli sono gusti personali e poi eravamo appena tornati da Londra dove si beve birra "tiepida" (vedi Asterix...).
Ambiente piacevole e ottimo servizio.
