We were in Sardinia at the beginning of October and stayed at the Hotel Maria Cardenia Green Village for 10 days. The hotel is a very quiet place to stay. The rooms are adequate, good, and clean.
The breakfast is, as is almost always the case in Italy, quite sparse, but okay. The pool area is very pleasant and clean.
However, the hotel is quite remote, so you definitely need a car or motorcycle. Otherwise, you're stuck there. All in all, we can recommend the hotel.

Since the hotel is located a bit outside of the city, you will need a rental car, but there are several rental car companies at the airport.

Hello, we spent a week at the Maria Caderina Green Village at the beginning of September 2025. Nothing was left to be desired here; we experienced Sardinian warmth and hospitality, coupled with excellent food, cleanliness, beauty, tranquility, and friendliness. The complex is a little dated, that may be true, but it hasn't lost any of its charm and character, nor its wonderful taste, which permeates the entire hotel. A lot of work goes into making guests feel at home. The food is excellent, healthy, regional, and delicious. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the whole family for the unforgettable time. Keep up the good work and stay healthy, cheerful, and blessed!
If you want to vacation away from mass tourism, this is the place for you, and Sardinia is no exception! Our dream island :)
