Mare e Monti farmhouse In Agerola

Mare e Monti is one of those locations that I will never forget in my lifetime. My new wife and I visited here for our honeymoon for a 4-day trip. We were greeted by Silvio and his brother Pasquale, who took up our luggage and greeted us with house wine. The next 3 days included eating amazing farm-fresh food, walking in the mountain town, traveling down to the coast, meeting kind people, and having the best days of our life. The rooms are cozy, the food is delicious, the wine is crisp, and the people are spectacular. This is a MUST STAY location if you are in the area, and I will recommend it to ANYONE who is willing to stay 40 minutes away from the coastline.

End of the season stay and we were pleasantly surprised about our warm welcome by Silvio and Anna. Our upper room had beautiful views off the balcony. Best food of our trip quantity and quality. Anna is a great cook and Silvio made us very welcome. Belvedere view in walking distance and path of the gods a short bus trip. We stayed in town and wandered around the park and the village as it was our rest days.

Review for the restaurant: We had a great experience! Silvio genuinely made us feel like family the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding and the service was top knotch, with large portions - all for a very reasonable price. The farm atmosphere and locally sourced ingredients, as well as the house wine, made the evening incredibly enjoyable. If you're in the Amalfi Coast area, I strongly recommend a dinner at Mare e Monti.

We were staying at another b&b right up the street and we were trying to support as many local businesses as possible and I’m so glad we found this! Silvio is absolutely incredible, his niece was our server - everyone was so welcoming and they make it very clear that the meats, the vegetables, the cheese - everything is made from either their farm or from local farms and you can tell. The prices were fair , the food kept coming and the house wine was incredible. So thankful to you and your family Silvio! We hope to be back ❤️ Ps. Where to begin? My partner and I came for dinner and felt so welcomed by Silvio. The food was incredible, the restaurant and farm were beautiful. Silvio goes above and beyond for his guests and his red wine was gorgeous! Further credit to the chef and kitchen staff - what an absolutely delicious meal! Thank you Silvio, and to all the staff. We loved every second of our time here.

We stumbled upon this place by chance, and it was a fantastic discovery. Silvio, the owner, is a genuine, courteous, and knowledgeable person... the food is excellent, and we'll definitely be returning.

Today my family and I stayed at this Mari e Monti farmhouse in Agerola. We had a wonderful time. It was truly a magnificent experience. The staff and the owner welcomed us so warmly. As soon as we sat down, we were able to enjoy their magnificent appetizer made up of delicious artisanal products. Afterwards, we moved on to the first course. From the menu of the day, we chose the scialatiello with zucchini, speck, provolone del Monaco, and walnuts. And what can I say? The dish was truly excellent and very plentiful, both the sauce and the pasta. Then we moved on to the meat, which was truly excellent quality. Suffice it to say that it was extremely easy to cut. Finally, we moved on to dessert, obviously always delicious. To work it off, we then went for a walk on the path that leads to the viewpoint. It was truly relaxing, a peace and a breathtaking view! We thank the staff again for their kindness and for the magnificent welcome. We will see you again soon! ❤️
