Malga Sorgazza In Pieve tesino

Starting point of the Alta Via del Granito, a beautiful multi-day hike through the Dolomites. The restaurant didn't look great. Toilets were available.

Delicious local dishes, excellent value for money, generous portions. Highly recommended during a beautiful hike in the mountains!

We stopped after a walk. The scenery was beautiful and the place was quite basic. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the food; aside from the platter, none of the dishes were to our liking. The prices are also quite high for the quantity and quality of the dishes.

I rarely review restaurants where I eat, but I'll make an exception for Malga Sorgazza. We visited close to Ferragosto (August 15th) when they were fully booked and were also undergoing a HCCP inspection of the kitchens. They were extremely kind and friendly, and made sure to accommodate our needs and those of our 6-month-old son, finding us a seat and serving us quickly and even earlier than the agreed-upon time. Furthermore, the portions are decidedly generous and the quality is excellent. Highly recommended!

A beautiful mountain hut with indoor and outdoor seating, offering enviable views of the valley. Generous portions and reasonable prices.

I had lunch with my family after hiking the trail that led to Costa Brunella Lake. We ate wonderfully, excellent dishes and large portions! Excellent value for money! The best in the area!
