I had lunch yesterday with my husband. Sliced polenta with melted cheese on top. I've never eaten sliced polenta in the mountains; it was probably leftover from the day before. The food quality was poor. Prices were average. I wouldn't recommend it.

Ideal for stopping to eat during a day of skiing or for an excursion. Large and clean place, tables both inside and outside. Well-stocked self-service with medium-high prices. Easily accessible bars and bathrooms.

Decent place, little variety of food, very expensive, low quality, nice place. Crowded more for the location than anything else. The deckchairs cost 4 euros, a scandal.

After a full morning of skiing, a massive plate of venison, polenta with cheese, and fresh mushrooms was exactly what I needed. One of the best meals ever. The place was quite crowded, but that’s expected in such a popular ski area. Portions were incredibly generous for the price, and the mushrooms were fresh and flavorful. A great spot to refuel after hitting the slopes.

31/07/2025: Service 2 only because it is a canteen and as such does not have table service, the staff is always very courteous, and the food is at the same level as many restaurants
28/07/2025: The staff was helpful, young, and professional, excellent. The food was quite well-prepared; I personally preferred the pasta to be cooked a minute longer.

Ristorante Cà Rossa

26/07/2025: I discovered it by chance while passing by. It caught my eye because the GPS said it overlooked Lake Caldonazzo, so I thought: the sun is setting, I'll stop on my way, and I was right because everything was perfect, the food, the location, the friendly, helpful waiters. I would recommend it as a place to stop only if you're passing through with a romantic date or boyfriend. 😂
22/07/2025: Great view, right down to the lake. Super sweet service. Very quick to "believe" what we order, but had caught it anyway. Very large portions. Especially because we had 3 small children with us, they could easily have shared a portion.
