Malga Monzoni In Pozza di fassa

The owner and staff at the hotel were very friendly and helped me find transportation. I visited for a ski trip at the end of the year and had booked two hotels, so I needed a ride from one to the other. I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but it turned out to be much harder than I expected! Since it was the end of the year (Actually I needed a write at new year day!!) and taxis aren’t the main mode of transportation in the Dolomites, I struggled to reach any taxi companies. However, the owner and staff went above and beyond to help me. They kept calling different taxi companies, speaking in Italian over and over, and after five or six tries, they finally found a ride for me! I truly appreciate their effort and kindness.

We stayed in the week from January 22nd to January 25th 2025. Excellent location of the hotel, close to the center and the ski lifts which can be reached by car or ski bus. It's a shame that the parking available only contains a few cars. Nothing to say about the hotel, in the sense that it was as we expected for a 3 star; Ditto for breakfast. Then recently renovated in some parts, such as the bathrooms which are new; friendly and helpful staff. I'm sorry to have to point out a sore point regarding the dinner; despite being good-tasting, unfortunately the quality of the dishes was not the best to say the least. The last straw was "Trofie al Pesto": the dish came with a brown sauce that could have been anything except pesto. In fact it was sent back from a table. And it wasn't the only dish to be sent back on those evenings by others I'm sorry but only for dinner I give 2 stars on the service; those who only stay overnight and breakfast should not have any particular problems. In my opinion, given the same raw materials and costs, the problem could be remedied with a different chef.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Monzoni in Pozza di Fassa and, overall, I had a pleasant experience. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant offered delicious food. However, there are some areas that could be improved. In particular, one wing of the hotel is not serviced by a lift, which may be inconvenient for guests with limited mobility or with heavy luggage. It would be useful to consider installing an elevator to ensure accessibility to all floors of the hotel. Despite this inconvenience, I still recommend the Hotel Monzoni for those looking for a relaxing holiday in the Dolomites. With a few small improvements, it could really be perfect.

Cosy hotel, friendly service at the reception and restaurant, very clean, room was cosy with a balcony and nice view on the mountains, hotel located close to the restaurants and ski slope. I also liked the breakfast and dinner, there was a big choice for dinner (several options to choose from starters, vegeterian meals, pasta, meat, desserts and others, everything tasty 🙂

We arrive in the week of Christmas, the hotel proves to be nice and acceptable, a full 3 star with a modest swimming pool and a ski room for ski storage which is a little rough, a very small room when opening the suitcases you had to zig zag around the small room, as regards the "bad" dinners need to be reviewed starting from 0 up to the dessert, dried up panettone, appetizers with industrial products, commercial foods even of poor quality make one doubt the originality of the dishes as there are no precisely the specialties of the Val di Fassa, the staff proves to be very welcoming and excellent on everything. The location is also good (a few meters from the ski bus).

Very welcoming hotel, perfect location in the center of the town and close to the spa. Also perfect for a family holiday: there is a swimming pool and games room for children. Abundant and good breakfast.

Nothing to say, super positive experience... Served and revered for every request, new, large, well heated room, bathroom with window... Breakfast and dinner better than expected, very convenient location for moving throughout the Fassa Valley.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was warm & comfortable with a well maintained classic style. The staff was very friendly and helpful. But for sure our favorite part was the balanced breakfast with the beautiful view. Also the service for the breakfast was fast and attentive. Would recommend and would stay again! Thank you for the pleasant stay.
