We went to the inn for lunch. Great food, beautiful views, and very good value for money. Plus, the service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, something you rarely find these days. We'd happily return.

The Edelweiss Hut's exceptionally friendly team welcomes every guest with regional hospitality, both in winter and summer. The inn is easily accessible in a beautiful setting and offers stunning views over the valley. The authentic meals are always a delight, with generous portions and very fair value. Daily specials round out the menu, which offers something for everyone. In short: highly recommended and a must-try! We will definitely be back.

A lovely refuge located halfway along the Ladurns circular trail. It boasts a stunning view, plenty of children's games, a lake for fishing and a spot of trout for lunch. The service is friendly and fast, the food is delicious, especially the desserts. The prices are fair, and there's a large outdoor terrace with plenty of seating inside, too. Clean bathrooms are also available.

A wonderful day with the family. The lunch was superb, the prices were very reasonable, and the staff were truly friendly and welcoming (we were even surprised to find a delicious blueberry grappa after paying!). We'll definitely be back!

Lunch with the family during the Ferragosto holiday. Accessible on foot from the top station of the Ladurns cable car or directly from the valley station. A wonderful place with a spectacular view. Excellent food and average prices.

We ate here after a nice hike. The place is gorgeous, with a wonderful view and lots of games for the kids. My parents also appreciated the presence of some rabbits. The food was good, with absolutely generous portions. The staff was very friendly.

A charming place to eat and drink 😁 absolutely delicious! Breathtaking views. To enjoy the food even more, I recommend taking trail 34 on foot. It's strenuous but rewarding. Half-board is available by booking.

16/12/2025: Great food. Very nicely presented and reasonable prices. It's a shame there's no pizza on the menu. I recommend the spaghetti pomedoro and the goulash soup served with croutons and fresh bread. The steak also looked great, but I didn't try it.

Hotel Alpenfrieden Restaurant

23/12/2025: What a beautiful hotel! First, let's talk about the location in Weißenbach. The hotel is situated more or less right at the entrance to the village and is surrounded by beautiful, high mountains. From there, you can embark on some wonderful and challenging hikes, for example, to the Oberer Moosboden or the Chemnitzer Hütte. The rooms are beautifully designed, very clean, and always stocked with fresh (free) water. At breakfast, you're very kindly asked for anything you need and can indulge in the abundant selection at the buffet. Dinner is prepared with so much care and is always plentiful. You can usually choose from one or two appetizers and desserts, and the main courses are generally served in three portions. The staff are so friendly and attentive, and the owner is very dedicated and approachable. All in all, you simply feel comfortable here as a guest and would love to return. Thank you to the team for a wonderful vacation!
18/12/2025: We spent three wonderful days at the Berghotel Alpenfrieden in Rio Bianco and couldn't have asked for more. It was a perfect vacation in every way. Andreas's welcome was truly exceptional: he made us feel welcome right away with his professionalism and warmth. The entire team was incredible: kind, attentive to our every need, and always smiling. The hotel is ideally located for those seeking true relaxation. Rio Bianco is an authentic village where a unique peace reigns and there are very few people, making it a true paradise for unwinding. We loved the annex: the pool and sauna are wonderful, and our little girl had a blast, making her stay special too. The cuisine is excellent, with carefully prepared and tasty dishes, and the cleanliness is unbeatable throughout the property. All this at an excellent value. In short: an experience with top marks. Heartfelt thanks to Andreas and all the staff; we'll definitely be back!
