More of a refuge than a mountain hut. Beautiful location. Friendly staff. The food is excellent. Access is via an almost entirely paved forest road. I absolutely recommend going there.

The Sacher torte was good, the only thing I tried. They ask for it with or without cream, but they don't tell you that the cream costs €1. I would have ordered it anyway, but they should at least mention it. The staff wasn't particularly friendly.

A wonderful place accessible by car on a forest road, and a short 100-meter walk from the parking lot. Excellent food with a good selection and reasonable prices.

Urban Coffee Lab

03/10/2025: Good place to have a coffee close to Piazza del Duomo. Gabriel and his team are especially friendly and wonderful service
15/09/2025: The cappuccino with oat milk was delicious, but a bit small (and a €0.70 surcharge! – a real shame). The iced tea (€3.90) was unfortunately a bit watery and came ready-made from a plastic cup. We also had vegan apple pie, which was unfortunately the only vegan option. For €5.50, we were a bit disappointed with the taste. The staff was friendly, and you could sit outside in an alley :)

21/09/2025: Beautiful view and beautiful mountain hut! 🔝
09/09/2025: Departure at 1269 near Malga Baessa, arrival after about 2 hours at Malga Cere 1743, some of us continue and reach the lake below the Maddalena fork (after having traveled through Val Maddalena) around 2040. Satisfied and beautiful places. Have a good trip.
