Macgowan In Ravenna

Great atmosphere. The staff is kind and let me set up a small spot at the bar so I could do some practice watercolor painting and sketching. I go when they open and it can get very packed but I never worried about my bag or dealt with anyone rude. I have yet to find an "Irish pub" that hasn't been a welcoming space and this is no exception. Great selection of beer, and my favorite standard tullamore dew whiskey.

A really nice pub, with a diverse clientele and friendly staff... It takes a while to eat but the food is very good.

Nice atmosphere and great music

Let me start by saying that the place is very nice, but it is impossible to eat there on an evening where there are more than 20 customers. Table booked for 9.15am, 8 people of which 2 did not order food, the food (very simple sandwiches and chips) arrived after 1 hour and 45 minutes. Asked the owner for an explanation, he said that we had to be patient because "we have a kitchen hole and we do what we can". From this it can be deduced that they cannot manage eating. Highly recommended for a drink with friends, not for eating.

It is a very characteristic Irish pub with a good variety of beers on tap. Every week there are live music groups.

Very authentic atmosphere of a typical pub. You can watch football and even rugby matches! There is! Great place to spend the evening in Ravenna. Good beer list.
