Macelleria Hamburgheria da Gigione In Pomigliano d'arco

I was in Pomigliano for a couple of days on a business trip. I ate at Gigione twice: once for lunch and once for dinner. For lunch, I opted for the deli, with grilled vegetables, squash, and a delicious bean salad. For dinner, I had to try the hamburger. I had a Chianina steak, with salad, grilled vegetables, and tomatoes on the side. Illegal meat, really 😍. Also, Carmine and his colleague were so kind, offering me a meatball while I waited for the burger. The meatball was superb, and the welcome was wonderful. I'll be returning to Pomigliano for work in September, and I have no doubts about where to eat. See you soon!

Original, functional, rustic, delicious

Nice concept of a place in a strategic location a stone's throw from the municipal villa, a plus not to be underestimated. Free and paid parking nearby. Kind and helpful staff in explaining how to order. The sandwiches are of excellent quality as is the meat. The bun is also excellent. I would improve the cleaning of the tables a little. Recommended

La carne è buonissima. Abbiamo mangiato un ottimo panino e una porzione di salsiccia e patate a forno buonissima. Gli ingredienti sono freschi e i prezzi nella media. C'è ampia scelta su cosa si desidera mangiare. Consiglio di assaggiare la crema al parmigiano e anche la salsiccia. Il locale solitamente è abbastanza affollato, ma il servizio è molto veloce. Consigliato.

The meat is very good. We ate an excellent sandwich and a portion of delicious sausage and baked potatoes. The ingredients are fresh and the prices average. There is ample choice of what you want to eat. I recommend trying the parmesan cream and also the sausage. The place is usually quite crowded, but the service is very fast. Advised.

Gigione has always been a point of reference in Campania, in fact it has won numerous national awards. In the province of Naples, in Pomigliano D'Arco, it has two restaurants, one of which is takeaway; having already tried the classic gigione gourmaund, we decided to savor it at 360° with the simplicity of take away. Let me start by saying that it is not a real take away, in fact it also has (few) tables inside and outside the place where you can consume what you ordered. As soon as you arrive at the place you need to fill out a sheet where you can choose the appetizers and a sheet with the drinks and sandwiches, both modular and proposed by the restaurant; then deliver everything to the cashier and pay. A number will then be issued and you will be called to collect, then you can sit on the tables made available, where available. There were two of us and we ordered M chips with provola and sausage for two, two modular sandwiches, one with Marchigiana hamburger, baked potatoes, raw ham, Genoese pesto, dried tomatoes and burrata d'Andria, the other with Marchigiana hamburger, coppery Montoro onion, bacon, baked potatoes and mayonnaise. Both sandwiches were very good, perhaps the flavors were too delicate and each taste was not easily recognisable, and above all the burger was not what I thought it would be, still an excellent burger, but knowing who Gigione is I expected top notch. Overall, a really good sandwich, not to mention the fries, fresh and tasty, strong and present sausage, provola cheese that still had the milk, fantastic. To drink we took a bottle of carbonated water and a zero coke. PRICE: 30.50 euros for two, excellent if it were a pub with service, good considering the quality of the place. I absolutely recommend trying it WHAT TO IMPROVE: The quality of the meat, but I think I was unlucky, it has always been excellent. Congratulations and greetings to all the staff, kind and prepared.

Uno dei miei preferiti, carne di alta qualità al piatto cotta maestralmente. Vasta gamma di contorni sempre super freschi. Gigione un nome che risuona da anni in tutta la Campania. Tappa fissa almeno un paio di volte al mese. Il papà dei Pub.
