Not just a butcher, but also a grill with truly top-quality meats. Excellent selection of beef, pork, and poultry, all from the family business, served with delicious side dishes. Kudos to all the staff, and special mention for the authentic, old-town location. Excellent and fair value. Definitely a must-visit.

Excellent food, exorbitant price

The meat is delicious, but the prices are perhaps a little high because everything costs the same per KG if you eat there.

For a group dinner, the butcher's/grill has two advantages: the quality of the meat and the price. The location and service could be completely rethought. The location is restricted because it's next to the butcher's shop, but the small square in front, with no parking, would be a delightful spot. The service is basic, as everyone orders appetizers, drinks, and hot meat dishes from the tiny butcher's shop, while at the table there's only one dish passed around per diner. The large tables are a harbinger of very noisy groups, so much so that conversation is impossible. The vegetable appetizers are pre-prepared and kept in the refrigerator, so they're neither good, nor attractive (shrink-wrapped), nor lukewarm. The bruschetta is tasteless, the eggplant and zucchini are unseasoned—in short, a disaster. The grill dishes are good, but the chicken skewers were undercooked; the meat dishes are a disappointing 4 stars. Plastic cups, plates made of both paper and ceramic, simple but effective knives and forks. Sloppy desserts and a small bill, but never again.
