Mac Bar Di Bruno Pranzo In Lecce

A trip to Lecce to see the city? To celebrate Sant'Oronzo? No. The wife is looking for a shop, in August, with the heat, the half-hour, and the children asking for the bathroom. I slip into an unknown and anonymous café that had struck me with its 1980s-style window. I meet Mr. Bruno, an octogenarian pastry chef, who tells me about his life and his desserts. A wonderful experience.

The coffee was fantastic, the service was quick, and it was very local, from another era. The mini sfogliattela was delicious.

Very, very good cafe! Friendly service. Bola Crema is very tasty. All reasonably priced.
