A trip to Lecce to see the city? To celebrate Sant'Oronzo? No. The wife is looking for a shop, in August, with the heat, the half-hour, and the children asking for the bathroom. I slip into an unknown and anonymous café that had struck me with its 1980s-style window. I meet Mr. Bruno, an octogenarian pastry chef, who tells me about his life and his desserts. A wonderful experience.

Pasamos por aquí varias veces, mientras estábamos en Lecce. El personal era genial (especialmente con mi Italiano roto). La comida era fresca y lo que una excelente selección de productos. Mac Bar recibe el sello de aprobación de Radtel.

Agriturismo Santa Chiara

25/08/2025: I'd like to sincerely thank the owners and all the staff at Agriturismo Santa Chiara. They were always kind and helpful, ready to help us or check in. They offered us a beautiful room overlooking the pool. The included breakfast was delicious, with a nice mix of sweet and savory. Sometimes the lady cooks for guests, and I must say she's truly excellent. I absolutely recommend staying there for dinner, as it was a delicious and warm experience. The agriturismo is large and welcoming, perfect for taking photos or reading a book while relaxing in the sun by the pool. I found a bit of my hometown in them, as they are family-like, kind, and welcoming—just what I was looking for in southern Italy. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, and welcoming place.
