There's certainly more than one reason why it has the reputation of being one of Puglia's premier pizzerias. The restaurant is large, bright, and elegant. The service is more than adequate, and the pizzas are at your table in minutes, even when the restaurant is half-full. Another strong point is the choice between a "shallow" or "thick" pizza, with the typical "canotto" crust. The dough is definitely very good and easy to digest. I wasn't entirely sold on the toppings, but that's a matter of flavor, and the ingredients used are excellent. I found the classic burnt appearance excessive, which is the main reason for the 4 stars.

The dough is well-hydrated, digestible, and perfectly matured, with precise cooking that enhances texture and aromas. The pairings are balanced and never overdone, with a clear focus on seasonality and showcasing the (local) produce. The service is attentive and professional, contributing to an overall refined and consistent experience, which sets the restaurant apart for its identity and reliability.
I recommend trying the pan-fried focaccia at least once: a different and unique experience.

This evening I decided to order the crunchy pizza. I really enjoyed it, better than the classic Neapolitan style. The service was impeccable; the waiters were kind and very helpful. The atmosphere was quite relaxed.

We went to this pizzeria based on the positive reviews and, above all, the numerous recommendations from friends who live in our region.
I must say that our high expectations were met, as the Neapolitan dough was excellent.
The selection is wide, and we'd love to return to try more.
It's a great place to eat a good pizza.

Farina e Luppolo in Lariano is a must-visit for pizza lovers, especially for the rare opportunity to choose between two different styles: the contemporary Neapolitan, characterized by a high, airy crust, and the wagon wheel version, thinner and more generous in size. In both cases, the dough is incredibly light and digestible, topped with premium ingredients that truly make a difference on the palate. The fried foods also deserve special mention for their crispy breading and flavorful fillings, perfect paired with one of the many craft beers on the menu. The atmosphere is informal and the service friendly, making for a pleasant evening despite the lively atmosphere, especially on weekends. The quality-price ratio is excellent, considering the research and technique that goes into each dish.

Definitely one of the best pizzerias in the area. The focaccia al panellino is truly spectacular. Excellent pizzas, very light dough, and a wide selection. Highly recommended!
