The restaurant offers a menu featuring delicious local products. The owner is extremely kind and always available to meet guests' needs. We often found ourselves needing dinner at 11:00 PM, and he always went out of his way to accommodate us. Unbeatable value for money.

It was recommended to us but we were skeptical... we went for lunch and the quality/price ratio is out of all logic... first courses for 4 euros... desserts for 2 euros... everything delicious, highly recommended 👌

A strategic inn for a stopover on our way to the two Calabrias. The owner was delightful and helpful. We couldn't eat because it was so late, but I would have loved to. Thanks to Mr. Federico!

I was in Lagonegro on vacation and ate at Federico's for five nights. He's a wonderful person, a very family-friendly place, a typical village inn that you can't find anymore. Authentic food, fast service, and really low prices. I'll definitely be back.

Abbiamo trascorso il mini weekend in Basilicata,in particolare a Lagonegro,alla locanda da Federico,che dire,,servizio da 5 stelle,nel cibo, ottimo, genuino, come il grande Federico, inimitabile per passione, gentilezza,e chi più ne ha,ne metta,poi la camera, bella,pulita funzionale,, grazie davvero di tutto, qualità e prezzo, inimitabili,, provare per credere,a presto famiglia Ruggiero da Ruvo di Puglia

23/07/2025: We stopped in Lauria on a day trip and, without a reservation (it was Tuesday), went to the restaurant, which has two dining rooms: one very welcoming inside and one outside. Since it was July, we were outside, partly because the temperature was perfect. We started with a trio of bruschetta, fried cod with cruschi peppers, and a pizza with Lucanian flavors. Everything was excellent, and the pizza was truly delicious, as a Neapolitan says. It will be a pleasure to return; the staff is super friendly.
25/06/2025: Historic restaurant that unfortunately I had never had the pleasure of visiting. On Sunday 22nd, returning from Maratea, we stopped for dinner. My wife opted for a slice of beef while I wanted to try the pizza. And I was right. Pleasant surprise. Contemporary dough, excellently leavened and quality products. Excellent digestibility. I then had the opportunity to chat with the owner, a kind and friendly person. He spoiled us the next project which concerns the opening of the pizzeria in another location soon. Obviously I will also go to visit the new location. Better late than never.
