We stayed at the Hotel San Nicola, which recommended this traditional inn to us. Located in Lagonegro, it's warm and welcoming. Traditional specialties and home-cooked food. Low prices and generous portions. For two appetizers, a first course, a second course, four pizzas, chips, water, Coke, and wine for six, we spent €65. The pizzas were really good, as were the first and second courses. A definite stop if we're ever in the area again.

This is the second year we've returned as a group to Lagonegro during this time, and Locanda da Federico has remained the same. A welcoming trattoria with an old-fashioned feel. The menu varies based on the availability of ingredients, and the pizza is made with excellent dough and fresh, local ingredients. For us, it remains a permanent and permanent spot for our outings in Basilicata. Suitable for everyone, from families with children to couples and groups.

On a trip out of town with my husband, we asked around for a quiet, beautiful place, and why not, a place that would also feel like home. They recommended Locanda Da Federico, and I have to say we were truly delighted. The staff were welcoming and kind, the place very clean, and it felt like home. We had three courses: a house appetizer accompanied by bread, paccheri with seafood, and pasta with ragù, accompanied by a draft beer and two excellent coffees. The portions were generous, the food fresh and delicious... but what I loved most was the place and the owner, who was truly kind and welcoming... Excellent price... I highly recommend Locanda Da Federico in Lagonegro...

Great!!! We had a wonderful meal, the staff were welcoming, and the location was very inviting.
A true inn!!
Delicious food and very low prices!
I recommend going there, although it's unfortunately far from where I live, but I hope to return soon!!!
P.S.: a first course (for two) is 4 euros!!!!!! A second course is 7 euros!!!

Passing by on the highway, we decided to go out and try lunch at this place I'd heard about...
The owner and the very young waiter were kind and quick to welcome us, even without a reservation. We ordered an appetizer, two first courses, a second course, wine, and water. The food was plentiful and delicious; as is well known, the prices are cheap, but for a quick meal, I'd say it was excellent.
