Loacker Point Trento In Trento

Excellent coffee with a good selection of pastries, cakes, and pies. Not just prepackaged, but also fresh. Not particularly quiet.

We went to Trento to visit the traditional Christmas markets. After the visit, we went to this typical Loacker-branded bar/café. We enjoyed some fantastic products (desserts and hot drinks) recommended by the very courteous, welcoming, and helpful wait staff. They were able to accommodate all our special requests. Rating: EXCELLENT (the best we can offer).

The service was excellent, except for my brother, who fell asleep with his face in the strudel. PS: Out of spite, I let him sleep with the bill to pay and went home. My brother is 25.

Good desserts. Thick hot chocolate, not thick at all.

There was a really long line on December 8th; I returned after New Year's Eve and went right in. I expected it to be bigger, but it's still well-stocked. If there's a half-hour line, it's not worth it, but if you go right away, it's worth it. Prices are okay, although they initially claimed you could use the "Mio Trentino" discount card for reservations.

There's always a bit of a line to get into the bar; the service is quick but friendly. We tried the hot chocolate, which was good, and then the Sacher torte and a brioche with cream, which didn't quite convince us. Regarding the shop, it's small but well-stocked, and you can find some unique flavors.

Poor customer service by an employee Today I visited the Trento store with my son, my brother, and his partner. While the place is always pleasant, the experience at the table was very disappointing due to the waiter, Antonio. From the very beginning, he was dismissive and unprofessional. My sister-in-law, who is lactose intolerant, asked for alternatives: she was hastily told that only teas were available. After choosing a fruit tea, we were told it was sold out (only the herbal tea remained). The absurd thing is that, despite having read about the availability of lactose-free cappuccinos, we were initially denied this option. The worst moment was when I tried to point out how strange it was that they were running out of tea at 5:30 PM: instead of apologizing, Antonio turned to my brother and the others at the table and said, "Or you'll make her see reason..." A rude and absolutely unacceptable comment towards a customer. Luckily, Alessandro stepped in, kindly and professionally listening to our disappointment and immediately resolving the issue, bringing my sister-in-law a soy cappuccino (which was available, then!). Thanks to Alessandro for saving the afternoon, but behavior like Antonio's ruins the image of such an important brand.

They could allow internal passage between the bar and the shop. Instead, you have to leave the bar and return through the shop.

We stopped in to refresh ourselves from the cold we're not used to (living in Tuscany). The waiters are friendly, greeting us upon arrival and departure, which isn't a given these days. The snack was excellent: a waffle with chocolate and two peanuts.

Loacker bar/shop; we went in the store to make purchases. The bar has a small dining room. The staff is very friendly and fast.
