Every time I return to Sacrofano, I can't help but stop by this restaurant. Everything is very good and of high quality, the owner and staff are really kind, I recommend it without a doubt.

A quick preface. I've been coming to Sacrofano for many years. But I only moved here a year ago... and I love it. I'd only used Chalet for takeout pizzas, and they were excellent. However, in my opinion, they have a strong competitor when it comes to pizza. But theirs are good, in terms of dough, cooking, and ingredients. Let's look at the menu: what a pleasant surprise. Compared to some of the places in Scrofano's collective imagination, which have retained almost nothing but the historical memory of times gone by, Chalet offers a simple yet well-executed menu. Starting with the ingredients, which are high-quality and well-prepared. For example, the carbonara was served to me perfectly, with a creamy texture and a good proportion of bacon, cooked perfectly as per tradition. I would have liked a little more pepper, but that's purely personal taste, which has nothing to do with proper preparation. The pasta cooking? Perfectly al dente, as it should be. Let's move on to the "simple" side dish of grilled vegetables: fresh, well-prepared, perfectly cooked, and generously portioned (as was the carbonara). Finally, the most important note for me: the staff is extremely friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and pleasant, attentive to the diner's needs and concerned about their well-being. The same can be said of the owners. In conclusion: highly recommended, for any occasion.
