A refined and very intimate atmosphere, with soft lighting and warm tones.
The interior dining room is not at all chaotic, and you can enjoy dinner without having to shout to hear the people at your table (something that's not a given these days).
There's also a terrace outside with tables for al fresco dining (inside, I think, is nicer).
The staff is very courteous and helpful, and service is very quick.
The menu is very limited, with limited choices, but it certainly meets everyone's needs.
Drinks and platters are also available.
I personally decided to try two seafood dishes:
FIRST COURSE - SEAFOOD GREEN GNOCCHI
Fresh pasta gnocchi with chard and potatoes, scallops, and swordfish
Very good and balanced, you can taste the excellent ingredients behind it; I recommend this dish because it's not heavy and remains very delicate.
SECOND COURSE - Fried Calamari
The fried calamari here is also very light, not heavy, and the portion is just right for two people sharing or for those who decide to order just the second course.
PIZZA - Buffalo Mozzarella
The pizza is delicious. I tried a slice of buffalo mozzarella and was really pleased. The dough is light and fluffy, and the tomato sauce is one of the best I've ever had. Perhaps my only flaw was that I expected a little more mozzarella (a bit too little for my taste).
DESSERTS -
I didn't find anything exceptional about the desserts; the tiramisu was good, but the selection was a bit limited here too.
As for the bill, I have to say I was satisfied; we spent €30 each, including a €2 cover charge and a bottle of still water, which we shared.
I highly recommend it to everyone; I'll definitely be back.

The dishes are delicious, carefully prepared, and beautifully presented. The service is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. You can dine outside with a sea view, while inside, the restaurant boasts a very pleasant design.
Congratulations, because the restaurant is run by very young people who manage to create a truly surprising culinary experience.

I chose this place based on the very good reviews that ranked it among the top restaurants in Albenga.
We had an appetizer of panisse and cucculi (we weren't very satisfied; the cucculli weren't as light and crispy as they are in Genoa, probably because they also contained potatoes) and two pizzas (they were good, and we slept well, a sign of good leavening).
The atmosphere is very nice, and the service was quick and courteous.
The food quality was average.

Unfortunately, it's on the street and not directly on the beach, but that didn't bother us at the end of September. We really liked the interior. We went without a reservation, and it opened at 6 p.m., which we thought was great. The Aperol was very good, and as a snack, they offered bread, grissini, and crisps made from vegetables and fruit. We'd never seen anything like it before, and it was really good. For our first course, we ordered the carbonara together, and it was even brought to us in two plates. Absolutely fantastic. We were allowed to switch inside without any fuss because it was getting too cold outside. The pizzas were a good size and, despite the slightly thicker crust, were really fluffy and light. We tried the mortadella pizza with burrata and pistachio cream, a pizza without tomato sauce, but with white cream. It was very greasy and had a bit too much mortadella for our taste—a matter of taste. For our second pizza, we had the one with ham and arugula. Also very tasty, and a similar amount of ham 😅 Including the tip and the "coperto," we paid €50 for everything, which we thought was very fair. We would absolutely recommend it, and the service was, as already mentioned, excellent.

I was here for the first time yesterday, and it was fantastic. We had antipasti with meat and cheese served with bread and string beans, followed by a pizza with prosciutto crudo and a pizza with tonno. I've never had such delicious pizzas. The tuna was so incredibly delicious, I don't think it came from a can. And the prosciutto crudo had five layers of crudo on top of each other, garnished with delicious fresh arugula. Delicious! I've never had such a delicious pizza in the 25 years I've been coming to Italy. If there were a downside, I'd say choose some easy-listening music, not that jazzy style with the trumpets. But keep it up, Verdega, it's fantastic. Greetings from Holland.

Recommended.
The guys are fantastic, elegant, kind, and attentive to everything, and their kindness is not a given, on the contrary. And then... the pizza never disappoints. 👍🏼
