Limoncello di Capri In Capri

The limoncello was very good but a bit pricey, but there are tourists to buy it

TOTAL FUN VISIT ! My wife and I were back in Italy for the 2nd time in 18 months. We loved it the first time and it’s been even better 2nd time round. After 4 fabulous days in Rome we took the bullet train to Florence where we spent another 4 glorious days. AND THEN ! On Thurs, March 27th Martin our good friend and limo tour driver picked us up at 9am at the Hotel Berchielli for the long drive to Salerno....for a 6 day stay. FABULOUS TOUR ! Soon after we arrived we hooked with our friend and tour guide Pina also an archaeologist. The next day our limo driver Giovanni picked us up at 9am for a tour of the Amalfi Coast. SPECTACULAR ! The scenery was beyond breathtaking. First stop was in Sorrento where we saw Mount Vesuvius across the water then Meta where we stopped at Limoncello di Capri to buy a bottle of Limoncello for a good friend back in California. All the staff were so friendly to us. I chatted with lovely Luisa who gave me samples of 3 different limoncellos at the bar counter. THEY ALL TASTED AMAZING ! In the end we picked out a bottle of Limoncello for our good friend Brian back home who later told us he demolished it with glee. I also bought a pack of Limoncello candy with chocolate center for another good mate...he loved them ! Thank you so much to all the staff we met...Michelangelo the manager, Djim, Alesia, Graziana and Luisa of course who made us feel so welcome !

Overpriced tourist trap. Their products are sold in supermarkets for half the price

Unmissable. But it's not a better-priced alternative; probably the opposite.

This is a Limoncello factory and shop. They offer tastings and samples. Delicious

During a pit stop on the way to Positano, we tried the delicious Limoncello and had the opportunity to buy various products.

Parking inside is quite expensive. There are many lemon-related products available, and you can sample them. There's also an observation deck with a panoramic view of Sorrento, which is nice.

Super cute little tourist trap. Not much to see as far as the factory is concerned but the little shop with souvenirs, drinks and snacks was well stocked and the view from the terrace worth it

My experience here was limited to a limoncello tasting as part of a City Wonders tour of the Amalfi Coast. Had a limoncello mule and watched the sunset before heading back to Rome. Was a great way to cap off a long travel day. Definitely check it out if you're in Sorrento.
