After many years, the Lido Gabbiano in Pineto has changed management. As I always say, I have stomach problems, and last summer I felt sick even at places where I usually had a good time. One of our last nights we went to the "Gabbiano" and I have to say we had a great time. My husband had mussels, pasta, and mixed fried fish, while I, who have to be more careful, had gnocchi and fresh tuna. I also tried the chips. The tuna was delicious, and the gnocchi were soft, whereas in that area they're usually a bit gnocchi. My husband also had a great time. If we return to Pineto, we'll definitely go to the "new" Gabbiano.

The place is well-run by the staff. The food is excellent, simple but well-cooked. The location is charming, right on the sea. My family and I will be back.
When I heard about the change in management, I was a little worried, but after an excellent seafood dinner, I can confirm the excellent quality of the food and service.

We had lunch at this restaurant overlooking the sea. We had a delicious tuna tartare with lime on top, a light but flavorful fried calamari, and a sautéed mussels—small but with a chili-flavored sauce that blended really well.
The first course was a triumph. A very juicy fresh tonnarello with scampi and bottarga.
The waiters were kind and friendly. The bill was commensurate with the quality and service. MUST VISIT

A truly simple and excellent lunch. There's not much to say, the fried fish, mussels, and tartar were truly delicious, and the first courses were, needless to say (tonnarelli, scampi, and bottarga...supreme 😉). Thanks, and see you soon!
