The Blue Bay beach and kiosk are those "oases in the desert" that I'm happy to find in this earthly paradise. Courtesy, a smile, kindness, professionalism, and a desire to do their job to the fullest. Family-run, this small beach has everything you need for wonderful days at the beach. Discovered by chance on a September day, far from the summer chaos, it gave us a relaxing and pleasant Sunday. Perhaps the space between the loungers is a bit small, but I understand they try to make the most of the small beach. Oh, and a small note: if they let you enjoy the sunset after closing time, be good: "Close the loungers and umbrella!" Kindness demands kindness! Highly recommended

During the days my wife and I stayed in the village next to this bar, we had lunch there every day. It also has a very clean and tidy little beach (which we didn't use). The staff is extremely friendly, always helpful, and always smiling. They make you feel right at home. All the food is excellent and plentiful, and the coffee and aperitifs are top-notch! Thanks for the hospitality; if you're in the area, it's a must-stop!

Excellent beach, friendly staff, kiosk with excellent sandwiches and a good coffee shop. Shame about the parking, which is €2 an hour. Otherwise, perfect.

The sea is beautiful. A mix of sand and pebbles, more pebbles I'd say. The beach umbrellas are a bit too close together. I recommend booking in advance, even though reservations are prepaid only.

25/08/2025: Off the beaten path, you'll find authentic cuisine. Pizzeria Ristorante San Francesco offers just that: traditional Calabrian cuisine, as it should be. Following Google's info (thanks to reviewers), we found this place. There's no showy display designed to impress (the exterior doesn't attract tourists, but perhaps that's a good thing). But inside, the truth comes through: excellent ingredients will win you over. A few dishes, but enough to get to know the area, all homemade with home-grown vegetables (grown directly by the owners). The first courses are delicious, as are the appetizers, pizzas, and second courses. But even the wait before tasting excellent Fileja alla Norma or alla Calabrese is worth it. The flavor explodes in your mouth. Simple, yet genuine and sincere, flavors that are missing from the surrounding tourist restaurants. Added to this is a rare kindness and courtesy that make the dinner even more enjoyable and make you say: I'll be back again (which we did). If you have a car and want to experience the simplicity of Calabrian flavors, I recommend going there—it's really worth it. We've been back three times. Congratulations.

11/01/2026: Good morning everyone, I'm writing a separate review for the restaurant we've known for a while now. Quality and courtesy are the order of the day... excellent products and helpful staff... 5-star chef because there's no sixth. I've sent friends and family reviews and they've all been satisfied. I'd like to take issue with the review from a week ago... written by a woman who, in my opinion, has no respect for the people who work there and who makes a living criticizing all the restaurants... perhaps dissatisfied with her own life... given that out of the 36 negative reviews she's written, they're all restaurants. I confirm that what she wrote is a lie, as I know the restaurant as a tourist... ANGELO DEL MARE. EXCELLENT PRICES AND FRESH CATCH OF THE DAY... I feel sorry for you, dear MARTINA BETTI, but this time you missed the mark.
03/01/2026: RECOMMENDED if you want fresh fish. You'll find friendliness, a warm welcome, and simple dishes. Just what you look for when on vacation. Not everything on the menu will be available, but that's a good sign because the restaurant uses the catch of the day, so freshness is guaranteed.
