I had a pasta dish "sugo di capra" (a kind of goat stew) which was absolutely delicious (I almost ordered a second plate, just to tell you). There is no menu because it changes regularly, so it is the waitress who tells you the dishes. Luckily mine spoke a little English because even though I speak Italian, not everything was clear. The Slavic waitress, on the other hand, is not very friendly and took a very long time to bring me a carafe of water. The restaurant is only frequented by Italians, which is a good sign.

“An authentic Calabrian experience! The place is welcoming, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. We started with a mixed antipasto platter filled with traditional flavors, including 'nduja and exceptional cured meats. The first courses, like the pasta, were flavorful and plentiful. The regional wine selection was also excellent. I also highlight the excellent value for money. Recommended for those who want to discover authentic Calabrian cuisine in a family atmosphere!”

A rare gem in Reggio Calabria. I was truly amazed by the excellence of this place, from every perspective. The outdoor area is lovely, truly comfortable, and peaceful. The staff is super friendly, and the service is paced just right to fully enjoy the meal.
The quality of the food is top-notch, and the portions are more than generous. Nothing we tried was perfect. The homemade pasta with slow-cooked ragù (you can taste it all) tastes like home, the meat dishes melted in your mouth, and the antipasto, so rich and varied, is a dive into Calabrian tradition.
It's a shame that traditional places like this aren't common in Reggio, which is overrun by cheap, fake gourmet restaurants.
Of course, the price is a special mention: for just €35 (or €30 with just the first or second course), you get the complete appetizer pictured (truly endless), first course, second course with side dish, sorbet, drinks (including wine), and cover charge.
Congratulations, I've rarely been so satisfied.

Buoni, ma mi aspettavo qualcosa in più.
Nulla di cui lamentarmi, però sono uscito dal locale senza quella sensazione di soddisfazione che speravo avere.

Rustico. Buono l'antipasto, per secondo abbiamo diviso uno stinco ma non apprezzato in pieno. Il conto è ok, ma il fatto che non ci sia un menù...non va bene. Sia perché non sai quanto andrai a spendere sia perché non riesci a decidere in tranquillità, visto che la cameriera ti spara una serie di primi e secondi uno dopo l'altro e non si capisce niente. Tre stelle per questo, altrimenti avrei dato 4.
