I had the opportunity to visit Vecchia Zambana in Trento and was immediately impressed by the hospitality and attention to detail. The establishment is extremely clean, tidy, and managed with a dedication that is evident in every detail. There's an air of great professionalism and attention to guests. I can't wait to return to try their famous pizzas and local dishes, because the promise is truly excellent! 🍕✨

Great place. Very friendly and helpful staff. We went there for the first time to try the Indian food. I really enjoyed the starter of mixed pakora and naan was simply delicious. Chicken karai and mutton karai has no difference of taste. Although I've never seen Karahi with carrots and zucchini. If i was the owner i would have removed all those heavy curtains and plastic flowers which gives a sense of darkness and low taste of furnishings. Overall my experience was good.

Friendly staff who clearly explained the dishes. There's plenty of choice, not just Italian food, but also Indian food. The food was delicious, and the quality and size of the dishes were excellent! Definitely recommended. I'll be back next time.

This place was a pleasant discovery during a short stay at Lake Molveno. With everything else closed, we chose Vecchia Zambana. What a discovery! Since then, it's become our must-stop every time we're near Trentino (or not exactly, if we're taking a detour)! We loved it so much that once we returned to Modena, we tried various Indian restaurants in Carpi, Bologna, and Modena...but nothing. We always ended up with dishes that were too spicy or poorly balanced. Guys, when I tell you it's truly spectacular, please believe me! I've never left a review for a restaurant! But this one truly deserves it! Their traditional Indian dishes are spectacular! So spectacular, in fact, that we've already been back four times!

Five days in Trentino around mid-August. We were staying at a nearby farmhouse. Where should we eat in the evening? A few suggestions, using search engines, but many were closed for vacation. The reviews for this pizza restaurant are outdated. We were told it had changed ownership, taken over by Indians, but the descriptions didn't tell us anything else... On the fourth evening, we decided. Aside from a few linguistic misunderstandings and a waitress who clearly lacked patience with the workload, we were amazed by the vast selection of local and ethnic dishes. Service was fairly quick, and in our opinion, the dishes were delicious and plentiful: that's why we left over. Ethnic dishes may or may not be popular, but there's a wide selection, including pizzas. Finally, a photo of an article where they were awarded for successfully serving a dish typical of the old management: white asparagus.

It's unusual to find Indian food in Trentino; overall, the dishes are good and plentiful.

Highly recommended. Delicious Indian food...but they also offer Italian dishes.
