Very local. Reservation needed in the summer time.

Despite some scathing reviews, we had a very good dinner at this lovely establishment. In particular, the fregola (for just two people) was sublime. The tuna? Not great, nowhere near the level of Carloforte's. We saw some very generous and tasty fried calamari go by… yum! Don't hesitate, it's a great place.

Everything is delicious and fresh. I recommend it!

Fish dishes based on strictly frozen and also of very poor quality and badly cooked, tourist place.

The best food on our trip to Sardinia! Grilled fish and grilled meat plates were awesome, so was the pasta with tomato sauce. Even the house wine was perfect.

Excellent service and delicious food. They don't serve pizza at lunchtime, so you have to try culurgiones.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch with friends on a terrace overlooking the sea. The menu is a triumph of seafood flavors. The mixed seafood appetizers were varied, plentiful, and delicious, prepared with top-quality ingredients. The first courses were also excellent: generous portions (as seen in the photo!) and excellent flavor. Everything was prepared with care and passion. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and attentive to every need. It's also important to note the excellent availability of gluten-free options, making the restaurant perfect for those with specific dietary needs. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, which we believe is absolutely in line with the experience offered. Highly recommended! The perfect place to enjoy excellent seafood in a unique setting.

A fantastic experience at Trattoria da Maria Giuseppa! We were greeted with great warmth and professionalism: authentic Sardinian cuisine, generous portions, and flavorful dishes. Everything was fresh and prepared with attention to detail. A special thanks to Monica, our waitress, who was simply fantastic: kind, attentive, and always smiling, she made the evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommended if you want to savor authentic Castelsardo cuisine in a welcoming and authentic atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

What a wonderful meal! My wife loved the gluten-free pasta and clams. I sampled and gluten-free or not, it was delicious. I had the ravioli of the house with the ricotta,, sage with a meat Ragout in a wine sauce, and it was incredible. The house wine hit the spot. If you can climb up the hill, must try!
