We went for a pizza on Saturday evening, attracted by the variety of doughs and the experimentation with leavening that was reiterated to us by the waiter at the table. The truth is that we then received fried foods full of oil and absolutely average pizzas, without any twist or any detail that would make us want to come back and try something else. Note of merit to the kindness of the staff, note of serious demerit to the speed and precision of the service: even considering the day (the place was not full anyway) wait 1 hour for the fried foods and a further 40 minutes for the pizzas, which arrived staggered with even 20- 30 minutes between the first and last courses and with some "misunderstandings" regarding the order seems really excessive to me.

Exceptional pizza. The sliced ​​raw ham at the moment allowed me to order a "cossacca+raw ham" which I hadn't eaten for years due to the poor quality normally it has raw meat in pizzerias. Tasty pizza that didn't weigh me down and left me wanting to come back. The cooking is also excellent, which is now an essential parameter (no more burnt pizzas).

We came to Casa de Rinaldi on the recommendation of a friend. Despite the larger group, there were no problems with quick service. The food arrived quickly and was of excellent quality. The chef is a master of all kinds of cakes and you can feel it. The sourdough mastunicola dough, other traditional-dough pizzas and your own burger buns are a masterpiece. Big envy for local residents who have these delicacies every day 🥹 I highly recommend it!!!

Read everything to the end and you will understand why I put the 3 and not the 5: It's the fourth time I've eaten at Rinaldi. The previous time I went with my 7 year old son and we both ordered a hamburger, he got the hamburger with sausage and I got an Angus hamburger, both with his bun and fries (salad for me), I who I am celiac and on the recommendation of the house, I took the gluten-free focaccia in exchange for the hamburger bun, which was so good that I didn't think it was gluten-free, At the time of payment they charged us for two dishes and the drink. So far everything perfect, good treatment, excellent quality/price ratio. This last time, however, we ordered the same, but my son, seeing as there was no sausage burger this time, asked for the Angus burger. However, they brought him the hamburger on a plate without the pane de burguer with two baked potatoes on the side which he obviously didn't eat and the hamburger without the bun (but a whole bread basket just for him and full of pieces of traditional bread , not hamburgers, which he only ate one). The same goes for my plate, instead of bringing me a few pieces of focaccia like last time to replace the hamburger bun, they brought me a whole focaccia separately which obviously I couldn't finish. The strange thing is that the plate beyond the hamburger was almost empty, we were waiting for the plate only with some fries accompanying it, like last time. but then they brought a tray with a lot of potatoes, more than we could and wanted to eat. This all caught my attention, why is it so different this time? and I should have said it, but they were very busy and I thought maybe they would do it differently this time..... However, then I saw that the table next to us had been brought the normal hamburger and "happy" with its burger bread like us the other time, and that was exactly what we expected too..... The fact is that in the end they made me pay for 4 dishes instead of 2 (plus a dessert that we ordered and the drink) there was enough leftover food that obviously we couldn't eat (there were leftover potatoes, bread and focaccia) and I asked for a box to take the focaccia and potato with me since I don't like throwing food away in a world where unfortunately there is hunger. In conclusion, I didn't intend to eat so many potatoes and so much focaccia and with two dishes like last time (and not 4....) it would have been more than enough.... (and it would have been cheaper). I don't understand why they did it like this this time, and only with us, I hope it was a confusion. I didn't feel able to argue, I didn't want to fall into the role of the annoying one who complains about everything in front of my son. I'm writing this review because I don't like keeping things to myself when I feel they haven't been right. And above all not to be left with the feeling of having been cheated, which I hope not, but if that were the case it would be a real shame because after all my son and I really liked this place. For this reason, for the moment, I give 3 points and not 5, as I think they deserve for the cuisine and the service which I repeat (for the other 3 times) is excellent. I wish I could understand what happened and why it was different this time so I could change the score...

It took me a while before reviewing Casa de Rinaldi, for obvious reasons but then I told myself that I am an objective person in judging and advising. The place is welcoming and in a modern key, it has an open kitchen where you can notice the order and cleanliness (I arrived around 10pm) and I found order. A premise must be made and concerns the careful research of the raw material then processed with attention and love for the taste. Managed by the de Rinaldi family who are attentive to all the customer's needs... specifically I ate the classic pizzas and I start right from the master Nicola a simple and tasty pizza (it is not a simple focaccia), then the historic Margherita with peeled San Marzano tomato and sublime mozzarella, I tasted the well-structured but light pizza of the month... its dough is light where you can eat with gusto. As for fried foods, they are tasty and not oily, you don't always find them fried like this. The table linen is modern in line with the venue...the prices are right for the quality offered...obligatory passage to the toilets which I found clean and fragrant... I recommend the place for the quality of the products. And then because from the name Casa de Rinaldi...it really smells like a home/family which is very difficult to find today given the multitude of places. Keep going...because when cooking becomes poetry...

19/09/2024: A Napoli, al Vomero per lavoro, mentre fuori impazza una pioggia pazzesca e in cielo, al festeggiato di oggi San Gennaro, scintilla fuochi d'artificio bagnati, mi godo questa pizza, visibile nelle foto allegate, fatta magistralmente, come da prassi, è un fantastico fiore di zucca fritto ripieno di ricotta. Un calice di Aglianico, bella l'atmosfera, forno a vista, e 18.50 il conto finale. In linea con le pizzerie d'Italia.
