31/03/2025: Experience to be repeated, Mrs. Ottavia, great professional with polite manners, it seemed like she had known me for years, the food was excellent, everything even the bitters served on a special trolley with a scenography of exceptional fires, I don't understand some of the negative comments, they aren't truthful, Alì, very good in the dining room with Ottavia, what can I say, go, try it and then you can judge, I was astonished, I'm a trader, I know what I'm saying, number one, meat, fish, there's no difference, everything is sublime, simple, a winner
29/03/2025: Amazing food at a reasonable price. It's a bit difficult to work things out online as going to the website just takes you to the hotel booking and says nothing about the restaurant. We also nearly missed the carpark. The evening session opens at 19:30. We got there about an hour later and it was still quiet. It started filling up around nine. It looked like many locals eat here regularly, a mix of friend groups and families, and we could see why. We were greeted with prosecco, and a recommendation to start with the seafood starter. A mix of mussels, octopus, clams, and lots more, with a side of octopus in tomato sauce, and small fried cod. Delicious. We went straight in on to the mains, with a very generous platter of grilled lamb, and the beef fillet with mushrooms. The fillet literally melted in the mouth! As we ate it was cool watching some of the table service around us. One table with a huge chunk of ribs being cut and served at the table, then another had what we worked out to be a pasta dish served in a cheese trukle. For some reason this came with ice that released clouds of vapor, like smoke, that formed a heap in the table for a few minutes. Quite a dining experience as well as great food. If you are in the area, this is the place to go.
