La Stua del John In Folgaria

Cutting board with FANTASTIC cured meats and cheeses! Very kind and fast service....I end the meal in style with the Trentino amaro. First time in Folgaria...I will more than willingly return!!

We had lunch today at the restaurant and as always we were satisfied and delighted by the flavours; the polenta gnocchi with Moena puzzone cream and speck melt in your mouth, the bison sirloin is very tender and has a special flavour. It's always a pleasure to have lunch here, excellent service and an intimate and refined location... super recommended!!!

On a recent visit to Stua, we had a memorable dining experience that exceeded all expectations. The location impressed with its fascinating fusion of modern and rustic elements, creating a warm and welcoming environment Dinner was a true triumph of flavours. We started with a delicious pumpkin pie, perfectly balanced in taste and expertly presented. Next, the venison was exquisite: tender, cooked to perfection and accompanied by a set of side dishes that enhanced its rich and deep flavour, all accompanied by an excellent glass of red wine. For dessert we had a 7 petal cake (chocolate) and the strudel from the Antoniazzi pastry shop, with its crunchy dough and generous, aromatic filling (we then ordered an additional half to take home). Special praise goes to our waitress, Katia, whose kindness and availability made the service impeccable, recommending the best dishes that could suit our personal tastes. Not only was she attentive to every detail, but she also helped create a relaxing atmosphere, even going so far as to offer a cell phone charging service, a gesture of hospitality that added to our evening. Even the following morning, at breakfast, Katia remembered my battery charger (which I didn't have) and spontaneously offered to charge my cell phone (thanks so much again Katia). Finally, a round of applause goes to chef Simone, whose talent was evident in every dish served. His ability to combine traditional ingredients with an innovative twist was evident, making each course an unforgettable dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wishes to enjoy an exceptional dinner in an evocative and well-maintained environment. We were immediately welcomed by Katia who followed us with excellent advice and friendliness!!! The second course of meat revisited the Cervo.2 was super promoted (if I remember correctly) Absolutely not to be missed for the extraordinary combination of flavors but also for the accurate presentation of the dish. Everything was really excellent, even the savory strudel and the top wine. What can I say, it will be a place worth mentioning where you will definitely return for another dinner.
