Good pizza, a little thin, but well seasoned. Good chocolate soufflé. Lots of choice of pizzas, but little choice of beers. And above all... pay attention to the expiry date of the beer they serve you: ours had expired and the date had been meticulously canceled on all four, in an unsuccessful attempt to make it seem like a coincidence. The waitress was quite nervous. We had agreed with the owner that we would order the pizzas after consuming the starters, but she insisted on ordering them straight away. Okay. Obviously they had leftovers, so we asked for some takeaway boxes (N.B. it's a pizzeria that also does takeaway, so it's stocked with boxes): he brought us 3 small sheets of foil with 3 paper bags. It's a shame this superficial attitude.

The restaurant is housed in a historic noble residence tastefully renovated. The menu includes a vast quantity of courses and varieties of pizzas, whose dough is very light and digestible. In summer you can dine in a spacious and lovely garden

We only had dinner once (unfortunately) and it was all excellent. The very nice environment, with a beautiful garden where we ate. We took a platter of cheeses (very abundant) and broad beans and chicory as an appetizer and as first courses ciceri and tria and some orecchiette with burrata. All delicious and with excellent value for money. Friendly and helpful staff, they even offered us limoncello at the end. We absolutely recommend it to anyone who happens to be in the area.

It was recommended to us by local people to eat a pizza....very well-kept place, very kind staff, fast service and excellent pizza...a few evenings later we decided to go back for a fish-based dinner...this time too, everything flawless!!! To be recommended! Flavia

Two weeks of vacation in Copertino, we visited many restaurants... but we didn't eat nearly as deliciously as an unforgettable dinner at "La Ruota". The ambience and everything around it goes perfectly with the delicious cuisine

Well done! We eat well. They are courteous. The venue is beautiful. You wake up satisfied and feel like leaving a nice tip. What more do you want from a restaurant? We stayed here with four little girls and they treated us very well. All the staff are courteous and open to dialogue. Truly a beautiful evening. A special thank you for having satisfied the lady with the wine! Perfect dishes. Tried fish first courses and pizza. All 5 stars. We have been in Puglia for 2 weeks and we have finally found the place to return to at any cost. These praises because I know that when work is done well it should be valued! Thanks again

Per me...una garanzia. Da anni la Ruota è tappa fissa ogni volta che passo in Salento. Piatti tipici locali cucinati con estrema cura e maestria. Fave e Cicorie, ciceri e tria, polpette fritte o al sugo solo per citare alcuni dei piatti più buoni. Eupremio cordialissimo, precisissimo e simpaticissimo come tutto lo staff. Consiglio vivamente il ristorante la Ruota!!
