Rediscovered, or rather discovered, after years and years since the last time I saw the owner's son: elementary school 🤣 We happened upon it one day by chance, it's not my area, but we sat down and ate well. Today I went back, alone, with the intention of not letting another 40 years pass: a margherita with buffalo mozzarella, a large Peroni, a small Peroni, a crocchè and macaroni omelette, a ricotta and pear dessert, a Cape amaro... Total €26. Honest like the cuisine and the quality of what I ate. Remarkable. Honorable mention for the omelette, truly exceptional. The desserts, supplied by the Nonna Flora pastry shop (which I didn't know before) are worth keeping an eye on because the consistency of the filling resembles that of an original quality Sicilian cannoli. Very good. A tip to the owners: keep the bitter glasses in the freezer for customers, they will thank you. For those who have never been there: it feels familiar. People who come and go and call themselves "uncle", "grandfather"... with an adorable old man, of few words but always smiling, fully dressed, who I discovered today is turning 97 (I would sign up to get there thus) cared for and served like the priest at the altar who brings joy to the heart to see. In an anonymous narrow side street (where incredibly I also found parking) it is a small pearl. Very highly recommended.

I recently visited Pizzeria La Ruota dal 1968 and was thoroughly impressed. The place immediately gave me a cozy, family-run vibe, and the atmosphere inside was warm and welcoming. The prices were very reasonable, the service was quick, and the restaurant was spotless. And the pizza? Absolutely perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for an authentic and delightful pizza experience.

A real Neapolitan pizzeria, with a very nicely decorated and very clean interior. it's worth stopping at least once to feel the true taste of Naples.

Quando ci troviamo a nostro agio non cambiamo. Ed è così che ogni sabato ci ritroviamo qui a gustare le bontà che vi si preparano. Ormai è un appuntamento fisso, unica variabile la scelta della pizza. Stasera la scelta è andata sulle quattro golosità, ma vi consigliamo caldamente il rotolone, oppure il ripieno salsiccia e friarielli, o l'ortolana, oppure... Basta, veniteci e gusterete qualcosa di particolare, in un ambiente a conduzione familiare dove la cortesia è di casa. Da provare assolutamente.

La Pizzeria la ruota resta sempre una garanzia, non si sono montati la testa negli anni nonostante la loro storia , prezzi onestissimi e qualità assoluta , da provare la loro frittatina , ambiente familiare come a casa
