A very welcoming, vintage inn. I'm staying here for work. The owner is very sweet and welcoming. The staff is fabulous, and the food is delicious. I recommend it to anyone in the area. The food is exceptional and plentiful, and they cater to children, those with allergies, and other religious beliefs. Overall, a fantastic, family-friendly place and staff.

I've been a Google Guide for many years and have posted numerous reviews on Google Maps. My wife and I live in a town near this restaurant (Sant'Antioco), but we'd never eaten there before. Today, while driving around, we decided to stop for lunch. And we were very pleased: the food was absolutely delicious, as was the house wine in a 50cl carafe. The service was good, and the restaurant and bathrooms were spotless. Yes, yes, yes... a real discovery, especially considering the restaurant is part of a hotel. Congratulations!

Title: Veronelli was right.
I travel a lot for work, and my experience at Rosella in Giba was truly one of the best I can remember. The place is traditional and welcoming; the waitress who served us was friendly and gave us excellent advice; but most importantly, we ate wonderfully. While we waited (shortly), they offered us a welcome treat of fried bread topped with tomato—simple but delicious. I had two meat dishes: a typical "shepherd's lasagna" made with slices of bread, sheep broth, pecorino cheese, and tomato, which was delicious, and for the main course, thick, juicy lamb chops—really excellent. My colleague had seafood fregola (which looked delicious) and grilled sea bass, and he was absolutely thrilled. We drank two glasses of wine by the glass, and to finish, a Giba nougat (delicious!) and two bitters. Total: €83. As I left, I saw a framed poster of the restaurant's first review, published in L'Espresso by legendary food journalist Luigi Veronelli. Forty years ago, he praised this inn as an authentic and delicious place, and what can I say? He's still right.

We stayed at Locanda Rosella for one night. The room was new, the bathroom was completely renovated, and the Insula shampoo and shower gel dispenser was excellent. The breakfast was also excellent; Stefania is incredibly kind, courteous, and friendly. We also enjoyed the restaurant for a truly excellent lunch. If you're ever in the area, stop by Giba and stop there.

A delightful discovery! We had dinner here one evening in October and had a wonderful meal. The waiter was very kind and friendly; the ingredients were top-quality, the fish excellent, and the cuisine traditionally Sardinian. Highly recommended!

A very pleasant and enjoyable experience.
The staff were very attentive.
The owner, Stefania, was extremely kind and was there to advise you on places to visit and to address any issues.
The rooms are very clean.
Towels are changed daily and sheets every three days, a rare thing these days.
The breakfast was perfect, with both sweet and savory options to satisfy all palates.
The restaurant offers excellent dishes, typical of the region.
A very pleasant experience for us.
