When you go to Giba it is a must to visit the Rosella inn. where you eat very well. The staff is very kind. Stefania, the always smiling owner, is generous with suggestions on the menu as well as (if you are a tourist) pleasant places to visit. don't miss it

I didn't use the hotel, but lunch in their restaurant room. A la carte menu with also the possibility of choosing between two sea or land tasting menus. Everything was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Cozy inn with very dated finishes, but characteristics that recall the "grandparents' house" which is nice because it seems like taking a leap into the past. Very reasonable prices and good food quality both in terms of freshness and preparation.

I'm removing a star because we were billed for a side dish that we didn't consume. Unfortunately we only noticed it at home. It's not for 5 euros but it's still unnerving and it seems like it's not the first time. So check your receipts carefully. For the rest the food is good and the service too.

Abbiamo soggiornato alla Locanda e sin dal primo momento siamo stati accolti calorosamente da Stefania e suo figlio Francesco, due persone squisite che ci hanno fatto sentire subito a casa. Anche il nostro cagnolone Gold è stato ben accolto, grazie anche alla compagnia di Yago, il loro dolcissimo cagnolino, che ha reso il soggiorno ancora più speciale. Le camere erano impeccabili grazie all'ottimo lavoro di Francesca, che si è occupata della pulizia con grande cura e il cambio degli asciugamani è stato quotidiano, un dettaglio che abbiamo molto apprezzato. La cucina è semplicemente deliziosa, probabilmente la migliore della zona. Inoltre, la posizione della Locanda è strategica, permettendo di visitare facilmente le splendide spiagge nei dintorni. Ci è dispiaciuto dover partire, ma siamo certi che torneremo presto!

Ristorante Pizzeria La Lanterna

13/01/2025: Yesterday we had a pleasant discovery right in the center of Carbonia, the La Lanterna restaurant! Easy to reach, we arrived there for lunch, we were greeted by a very kind and friendly lady, with the help of a good waiter. The lady was able to immediately recommend the best dishes and offer us their seafood menu, plentiful and very tasty. We started with the appetizers, first a very fresh octopus salad, followed by sword tuna on a bed of orange slices and pink pepper, followed by amberjack cooked in an amazing way!!!! Because we are people who like good food and there were 8 of us, the lady also recommended a dish of mussels, scallops and oysters au gratin...what can I say...top!!!! Followed by a first course of spinach potato gnocchi with clams and bottarga and then a delicious seafood fregola with very fresh fish. For the second course, excellent fried calamari and prawns and grilled sea bass. The ravioli, the ricotta desserts which I highly recommend and the honey and orange sebadas could not be missing. The nice and refined environment, compliments for the cleanliness and the details inside the place... we will definitely be back!!!!
12/01/2025: I came for a family lunch and was fully satisfied. It offers both seafood and land dishes, I found the pasta with sea urchins, the horse steak and the fried raviolini excellent. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. Fair prices for the quality and quantity offered. Advised!!

Agriturismo S'Ortu Mannu

23/09/2024: Per esperienza fatta e ripetuta posso dire che l'agriturismo S'Ortu Mannu "A Casa Mia" è un angolo di paradiso in quel di Villamassargia. È un ambiente molto accogliente, dove ogni dettaglio è curato per farti sentire a tuo agio. Le piante, i fiori e i colori che caratterizzano l'ambiente, unito al menù tipico vario, ricco e gustoso, si fondono di gran stile con la meravigliosa cordialità dei padroni di casa che è presente e costante e tende ad accompagnare ogni momento facendo vivere attimo dopo attimo la piena convivialità e rendono memorabile la permanenza in questo luogo speciale. Esperienza che intendo reiterare, le belle cose è meglio non farsele mancare a lungo. 😉😊 Gianni Campus
