La Rosella In Giba

We had lunch at this restaurant after returning from an interesting visit to the Acquacadda cave. We ate excellent spaghetti with seafood in very generous portions. Very friendly staff, excellent price-quality-quantity ratio. Advised!

We took the mussels which didn't taste bad overall but many were raw, we went to eat the porcheddu and they gave us pork that was sometimes cooked and sometimes not. Sorbet brought hot, the myrtle which should be a source of pride here in Sardinia was pitiful. 3 of us go to pay, we spent 180 euros which still fits but they tried to cheat us by adding 10 euros when we paid with a debit card, then returned after reporting the error. I advise you not to come and eat there, there is better and for that price the minimum would be not having to go to the bathroom all the next morning. Look at the reviews and decide for yourself.

Locanda Rosella is a family-run, rustic-style property with minimalist, clean and well-kept rooms. The staff's welcome is warm and their availability towards the customer's needs is maximum. The cleaning and tidying of the rooms is done daily and always very thorough. Breakfast starts from a constant basis, with some variations throughout the week; there are always sweet and savory options. In general, the location of the Structure is particularly strategic as it is a few steps from a wide variety of commercial activities, such as household goods, supermarkets, hardware stores, pharmacies and bakeries which offer support to those who prefer greater autonomy during their stay. Furthermore, it is located in an area from which the best beaches can be reached in a few tens of minutes.

Warm welcome from the owners. We had booked a table with the fork. If you are looking for a fish-based restaurant in the hinterland, this is the right place. Excellent quality (excellent mussels) and value for money (€60 for two people), good grilled fish as well as fregola with seafood. The dessert, the seadas, is less good. Meat is also present on the menu.

Staying at the Rosella inn was a wonderful surprise! We immediately felt at home, the inn is beautiful and welcoming, the environment serene and warm, the typical, quality cuisine! Stefania, Francesca, Francesco, Salvatore and all the staff were very kind and always available, making the stay even more pleasant!

La location è accettabile, forse un po' vecchiotta. Il cameriere ci accoglie con un bel sorriso e questo è positivo. Carta con proposte sia di pesce sia di carne. Optiamo per un misto mare di 4 antipasti (50 euro per 2 persone). L'insalata di polipo e patate ha alcuni pezzi talmente duri da essere immasticabili (viene fatto notare al cameriere che dice riferirò in cucina). Discreto il resto. Buono il tonno in crosta. I ravioli sono discreti con sopra una salsa di pomodoro forse un po' troppo acidula. Al momento del conto la promo per aver prenotato con una nota app viene applicata solo dopo aver fatto notare che non era stata applicata. Che dire... Un posto medio in tutto è forse la definizione più giusta. Certo è che non invita a tornare.

Locale molto accogliente e personale gentilissimo. Su ordinazione abbiamo mangiato il porceddu....presentato benissimo, cotto alla perfezione, morbido e saporito con cotenna croccante, porzione per 2 più che abbondante. Prezzo giusto. Se siete in zona telefonate e fatevelo preparare....non rimarrete delusi!
