I went there for the first time on Sunday. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were really friendly and welcoming. I had a wonderful meal: homemade fettuccine with zucchini flowers, walnuts, and guanciale, the parmigiana, and the crema catalana... everything was excellent. Homemade cooking! I'll be back to try the pizza, too.

Excellent food, 100% Roman tradition, in a pleasant atmosphere. The service is extremely welcoming. I chose this restaurant with a small group of friends while we were passing through for lunch, but it's now on my list of places to return to.

Not much to say, the place is very welcoming, the waitresses are very cheerful and friendly, the food is excellent, and the service is fast. The Roman-style stuffed zucchini flowers (mozzarella and anchovies) were among the best I've ever eaten!

A small, typical local restaurant. Excellent food, homemade pasta, and balanced sauces. Friendly and professional staff. When the restaurant is fully booked, communication is somewhat difficult. Recommended for both lunch and dinner.

È il nostro ristorante preferito a Cerveteri, cibo ottimo (i fritti spettacolari: carciofi, moscardini, alici sono veramente sublimi), sia la carne, sia il pesce (tonnarelli all'imperiale assolutamente da provare), sia la pizza. Servizio rapido e simpatico, buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci vado spesso con mio marito, ma è una location ottima anche per gruppi più nunerosi...a febbraio abbiamo ben festeggiato il compleanno di mia suocera. Stra-consigliato!

18/10/2025: I frequented it several times, both pre- and post-COVID. It seems to be recovering now, but it used to be better. The menu has been expanded, from pizza only to some Roman dishes. The aperitif glass of white wine is no longer available. The staff is friendly and attentive, although there were a few delays the last time, but nothing major. The pizza is good, as is the quality of the fried foods. Prices are reasonable. Parking is difficult.
12/10/2025: Near Villa Pia and many other hospitals in the Monteverde and Trastevere area. Off the daily menu (TODAY PASTA AND FACIOLI!!) Lunch and dinner 10 euros. Authentic Roman neighborhood osteria and pizzeria!!!

Ristorante Pizzeria La Taverna dei Rei

08/12/2025: The cuisine is beyond praise: the dishes are exquisite, fresh, and prepared with love. I especially loved the seafood pasta—a perfect combination of flavors and aromas. The desserts are a whole other story; the tiramisu simply melts in your mouth! 💁‍♂️ The service is top-notch. I'd like to express special thanks to our waiter, Igor. His professionalism, attentiveness, and ability to find a personal touch made our evening especially enjoyable. He easily helped us choose dishes and wine, was discreet, yet always there when needed. 🎉 Overall, La Taverna Italiana is a place you'll want to return to again and again. Thank you for your hospitality and excellent service!
08/12/2025: We booked an hour early on Saturday evening and were greeted warmly. The dinner was excellent, with exceptional flavors, especially the carbonara and meatballs all'amatriciana. Despite a small issue during dinner, they were extremely prompt and courteous in resolving the issue. Friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
