La Pentola d'Oro In Tropea

The food was nothing special. The first courses were quite generous, but the rigatoni with stracciatella and scampi had a sauce that was a bit acidic for my taste. I enjoyed the peppered mussels, even though the portion was small, while the fried calamari was really small for the excessive price of €18. The location is nice and central, and we definitely didn't lack bread.

The appetizers were mediocre, but the first courses were very good. The service, however, was terrible and inattentive. I waited more than half an hour longer than the others for my first course. Paying the bill was a real pain.

Perhaps the best fish in Tropea. We went there twice – the mussels appetizer was excellent, as was the swordfish Tropea style. The ambiance is classic Italian and very pleasant.

The atmosphere is very welcoming and the service is fast. The food is delicious, I highly recommend it! Reasonable prices.

The food was amazing. Just like how family makes it. I even ate pasta. Tagliatelle was delicious.

A splendid restaurant in the heart of Tropea, just steps from one of the most fascinating places in Italy and Calabria. We ate very well, and the service was excellent. Congratulations! We'll definitely be back.

The best food out of 10 restaurants we tried in Tropea. They have never disappointed on repeated visits. Great staff.

The golden pot in Tropea! I returned after a while and it did NOT disappoint. I had a truly excellent fish appetizer and first course. Compliments to the chef. The welcome was warm, and since there were five of us, they went out of their way to prepare a table for us inside. Truly TOP 👍 Go there, it's in Tropea.

Sono tornato per il terzo anno in questo ristorante, dopo averlo già frequentato per diverse volte in 2 soggiorni precedenti, rispettivamente nell'agosto 2020 e 2021, e non posso che confermare l'opinione più che positiva che mi ero fatto in quelle precedenti occasioni. Il ristorante è molto caratteristico, e offre un'ampia scelta di prelibatezze locali. Ho preso spaghetti alla calabrese, scaloppina al Cirò e creme brulee. La signora titolare è estremamente gentile e accogliente. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è davvero ottimale. Il ristorante è ubicato in una stradina del centro storico di Tropea, dove, nelle immediate vicinanze, si apre uno dei due belvederi dai quali si ammira il mare e il promontorio con la Chiesa di Santa Maria dell'Isola. Lo consiglio vivamente e spero di tornarci per la quarta occasione.

Uno dei pochi ristoranti di tropea aperto a inizio marzo. Non ci tornerei. Il locale è vecchio e trascurato. L'antipasto all calabrese niente di che, frittata con cipolla di tropea senza sale....buona la fileja. Conto normale. Locale senza infamia e senza lode
