27/07/2025: Pastamore & Chiatamone was recommended to me by a woman who runs a bar in Borgo Marinari. I visited in May and returned yesterday for another family lunch. The restaurant is located on Via Chiatamone, behind the old Faculty of Economics and Business. There's a parking garage in front of the restaurant if you don't have a car.
The restaurant seats about 25 people. The blue walls and original furnishings make it feel like a beautiful, welcoming home. It offers seafood and meat menus, featuring traditional Neapolitan dishes and seasonal produce, all freshly cooked by Chef Vincenzo, who expertly leads you on a unique journey of flavors, ensuring memorable moments with his expertise and friendliness.
We enjoyed amazing seafood dishes, including appetizers such as cuttlefish and artichoke steak, rock mussels, grilled anchovies, and exquisite Italian-style fried fish.
The first courses, seafood scialatielli, paccheri with catch of the day, pasta allo scarpariello, and second courses, fried cod and Sicilian-style cod, were all excellent, tasty, and delicate. The portions are generous. The house wines are good, and the wine list offers a wide variety. There wasn't much room for dessert, but those who tried the babà enjoyed it. Excellent value.
Highly recommended for a time filled with flavors and harmony.
23/07/2025: Highly recommended! We ate here twice during our three-day stay in Naples. The food is fantastic, truly fresh, and made with love. We were always served warmly and friendly, and the restaurant has a really nice atmosphere, and the value for money is excellent!
