The Fork 0
We stayed at this campsite for 3 days, with a beautiful beach and wingfoiling on a 7m and 4.2m sail. I recommend it.

A pleasant surprise – very good food and friendly service! I had a seafood pasta dish, which I really enjoyed. Although I rarely order pasta in restaurants, I gave this dish a try and was not disappointed. The waitress was very friendly and attentive, even with the children. Overall, a very positive experience – we'd be happy to come back!

Amazing food, professional service, kind waitress who advises as best she can. Pleasant atmosphere in the center of the town. I recommend and we will be happy to go back there again.

I found this place to be kind, courteous, and attentive. The lady who welcomed us, with a warm smile, immediately put us at ease, and was impeccably courteous! The seafood paccheri were delicious!

We went out to eat afterward. I think everyone orders pizza because at least they fill you up. The food was far too small, although tasty. But the mini portion... the Hugo drink was terribly sweet. The place wasn't our taste.

It was very busy, we got a table very quickly, and after ordering, our drinks were brought right away. We didn't have to wait long for the pizza. Our pizzas were very good.

30/06/2025: Delicious food for reasonable prices
28/06/2025: We went there by chance, visiting Populonia. The place is right at the entrance of the village and the location is really beautiful, even if a bit messy. The staff was kind and courteous. The things to eat were quite good (lasagna, ribollita and octopus) also the bread and the savory focaccia, at the right prices (the first ones at 12 euros and the second ones at 14 euros). What I can't understand is how you can charge 2.5 euros for the cover charge per person (with the placemat and the paper napkin) and 2.5 euros for a coffee. At least let's put some control, let's put a proper tablecloth and give a little order to this location. Then probably the location makes the business work even without any of this, but it could really be done much, much better.

La Taverna del Pittore

30/09/2025: Very nice and beautiful. We had to wait at least an hour for the food. It was a bit long, but as I said, the staff was friendly. The food tasted good, but the portions were small.
31/08/2025: We have had a wonderfull evening. Very fresh and delicious diner we had including very good wine. Great ambiance and nice view. Service was excellent and very friendly. I would recommend this restaurant.
