La Luna Nel Pozzo In Caltanissetta

I had been there one winter with friends, before the pandemic and I remember eating a pizza with walnuts and pears that I liked. A few nights ago, in the company of friends, things went differently. In the absence of an air-conditioned environment, we would have preferred it given the heat of this period, they made us sit outside under a canvas cover adjacent to a sheet metal roof. A rather poor and makeshift location that certainly did not favor air circulation. The tables with paper tablecloths, the cutlery with knives that did not cut and the chairs with wooden seats that did not allow any transpiration made the stay rather uncomfortable. When it was time to order then, we discovered that they did not have French fries, but baked potatoes with rosemary and coke only in small cans. A ploy to extort more money from the customer. Finally, the pizza turned out to be decent but nothing exceptional. Never again.

I've been to this pizzeria and I must say that the experience was really positive. The pizza was excellent, well leavened and with quality ingredients, prepared with care and served hot and fragrant. The staff were kind and attentive, always available and smiling. The only small note concerns the availability of drinks: I had requested a Coca-Cola in a one-litre bottle, but unfortunately it was only available in a 33 cl can. Nothing serious, but it would have been more convenient to have the bottle, especially if you have company. Overall though, a great experience! Definitely a place to return to enjoy good pizza in a welcoming environment.

Definitely good pizza.... The prices are so-so... but on the other hand you pay to eat well.... The speed of service is unfortunately back to that of the old days... long... long... wait for the pizza ..but this is the only flaw... it is definitely worth a visit.... recommended!

Very cute and particular in its location

Very nice and welcoming place on two floors. The car park is large. Young, well-mannered and helpful staff. Pizza? Saying that it is good does not do justice to its goodness, its elongated shape on a plate of the same shape also makes it pleasing to the eye. Last time we also ordered baked potatoes with oregano which were VERY GOOD. My opinion is Excellent on everything: location, staff and pizzas. I RECOMMEND IT

Definitely one of the best pizzerias in Caltanissetta both for the pizza but also for the location. No Neapolitan pizza, but authentic Nissena.
