La Locanda del Tasciotto In Valmontone

Very kind... knowledgeable staff and excellent food... highly recommended

The Tasciotto inn is a place where it is a pleasure to stop and taste traditional Lazio dishes. I highly recommend it. When I pass it's a fixed stop.

Pleasant discovery. The staff were friendly and quick to serve even though the room was full. We took the Tasciotto appetizer which includes the classic Italian starter and hot entrees with meatballs, grilled vegetables etc... The choice of first courses is good. They range from the early Roman classics to other more "refined" revisited ones. Applause for the possibility of eating a good 90% of the menu with a gluten-free option (which is rare). Elegant, well-kept and particular furnishings. Value for money in the norm. Two starters, 1/2 liter white wine, 2 fish first courses and two coffees €69.

Great restaurant! You eat well and the products are quality! Fabulous fines are an absolute must try! the cacio e pepe was passable, nothing special, perhaps my opinion is influenced by the fact that I ate the fine ones first which were very good and after that anything would have disfigured.

A fried vegetable dish, a cacio e pepe and a carbonara, 1/2 liter of house wine, water and a small coke, €45, seems a bit much to me. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. If you're local, that's fine, but going there on purpose is also not.

We happened by chance in this inn located in the historic center of Valmontone, a stone's throw from the outlet and we had a superlative culinary experience. Everything was excellent from the appetizer with raw ham cut by hand and served on a drying rack, cold cuts, cheeses , meatballs, chickpeas, polenta and scamorza. We continued with the first courses served in a pan, truffled carbonara and fino fino, very fine tonnarelli and homemade with a white ragù, never tasted so good, to conclude although we were already full we ordered the decomposed cannoli out of curiosity and gluttony which brought us back to the flavors of Sicily. Friendly and welcoming staff, the right value for money... the place is very original, well kept and clean. I would give more stars if I could, I highly recommend it and we can't wait to go back to try other things

Ottimo ristorante in pieno centro di Valmontone, varietà nella scelta ed originalità nel gusto. Locale molto carino ed accogliente , ambiente intimo. Ottimi gli antipasti, baccalà pastellato e flan di zucca, particolari le fettuccine abbrustolite e la calamarata al pesto di pistacchio calamari e gamberi. Con acqua un quarto di vino e caffè 60 euro con piccolo sconto. Da provare assolutamente.

Probabilmente, nel rapporto qualità/prezzo, il miglior locale, a Valmontone, dove ho mangiato. Locale sicuramente caratteristico che ricorda, in effetti, una locanda. Servizio veloce e gentile, nulla da dire a proposito. Primi di buona qualità e con pasta fatta in casa. Antipasto rivedibile (le ricottine erano probabilmente sul punto di guastarsi o comunque il sapore non è stato gradito), comunque di discreta quantità e ben presentato. Contorni buoni . Niente di eccezionale i due calici di vino presi ma la cantina è degna di nota. Bene i dettagli: dalla bottiglia dell'acqua con il logo al poggia posate in coccio. Conto in linea. Ci riandremo.
