La Locanda del Tasciotto In Valmontone

I found this place by pure chance and reading the reviews I wanted to trust it... and thank goodness I would say. Very nice place in the center of Valmontone, excellent food. Spectacular grandma's meatballs. If I come back I will definitely stop there again

Returning from a trip abroad we needed Italian cuisine, especially Roman cuisine 🤤 after a long search, the reviews of the Locanda del Tasciotto convinced us to make a detour to Valmontone!!! A good place with a welcoming environment and friendly, knowledgeable staff... the food was good but I had different expectations... we ordered 2 carbonara and 1 amatriciana, 3 saltimbocca, 2 potato side dishes, 2 small Coca-Colas and 1 bottle of water... 1 tiramisu and 3 coffees which were first counted on the receipt and then "Rewarded"... I gave 4 stars because in my opinion the bill is a little excessive for the type of venue.🤷🏻‍♀️

Confirming itself as a top restaurant in the area both for dine-in and take-away, excellent value for money, highly recommended

Found by chance it was a very good experience... shame it's far from where I live... excellent!!! Quick and friendly young staff. Highly recommended!!

If I could I would give 10 stars!!! Homemade appetizer, truffled carbonara and pasta with Chianina and truffle ragu, grilled octopus with stracciatella on a bed of pesto not to be missed! All sublime in a perfect context, congratulations, keep up the good work guys 👏

On the way back from Florence we come across absurd traffic and, dejected and hungry, we decide to stop in Valmontone. Not knowing what to do and where to eat we rely on reviews and here we are. You can't imagine how lucky we were. The tasciotto appetizers aroused the appetite but the thing that really surprised were the first courses. Carbonare with amatriciana truffle and cacio e pepe are delicious but what really stands out is the ravioli. You can't imagine the flavor that explodes when you eat that ravioli with crispy bacon. I've been to several Roman taverns but this one beats them all also for the quality/price ratio......congratulations guys

Ristorante molto carino e caratteristico a Valmontone alta. L'atmosfera è calda e piacevole e i piatti gustosi. Servizio cordiale. Unica pecca a mio avviso il menù che non presenta grandi alternative per chi non ama la carne. Nel complesso consigliato.

Probabilmente, nel rapporto qualità/prezzo, il miglior locale, a Valmontone, dove ho mangiato. Locale sicuramente caratteristico che ricorda, in effetti, una locanda. Servizio veloce e gentile, nulla da dire a proposito. Primi di buona qualità e con pasta fatta in casa. Antipasto rivedibile (le ricottine erano probabilmente sul punto di guastarsi o comunque il sapore non è stato gradito), comunque di discreta quantità e ben presentato. Contorni buoni . Niente di eccezionale i due calici di vino presi ma la cantina è degna di nota. Bene i dettagli: dalla bottiglia dell'acqua con il logo al poggia posate in coccio. Conto in linea. Ci riandremo.
