La Locanda del Gusto In Castelvetro piacentino

The atmosphere was a bit anonymous, the dishes were well presented. We ordered two spaghetti alla Nerano, which I personally lacked a bit more provola. A mozzarella in carrozza was fried well, tasty and light. The cheeses with mustard, on the other hand, were a bit mediocre. Of course, everyone has their own tastes. I like strong flavors. The service was good, but a little more smile wouldn't hurt. They seemed to have little desire to work. Just my impression.

We went here for the first time with friends and had a great time. The appetizers were delicious, the two fried pizzas were fantastic. The fried pizza was so light it didn't even taste like fried food, and the mozzarella in carrozza was puffy and crispy. The pizzas were fabulous, both in appearance and taste. I've never had such a good and rich pizza. I recommend this place to everyone. The only flaw was the service. I don't know if the guys were newly hired because they were slow and a bit confused. Otherwise, everything was perfect, even the price! We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Superb pizzas! A 'must' if you are in Cremona. I suggest booking ahead if you can to make sure you get a table. Friendly and professional staff, excellent service, and - last but not least - absolutely delicious pizzas! Indoor and outdoor tables, right opposite the Ponchielli Theatre. Roadside parking is nearby or it's just short walk from the Marconi underground car park at the impressive Violin museum.

Small but nice. And from 8 p.m. all tables are occupied, once on Monday and then on Wednesday. So it's advisable to make a reservation if you're coming for dinner a little later. Quiet. No music in the background. Very soothing. Service professionally good, fast, uncomplicated. Fine food, some with selected ingredients. Wine list ok, but it's a shame, even on our second visit there wasn't the wine we wanted from the menu.

Despite being from Cremona, I didn't know this restaurant, and it was a real discovery! The pizza is exceptional, with a very light dough that makes it truly unique. Furthermore, the menu offers a selection of high quality gourmet pizzas, with attention to every detail. I must offer my most sincere compliments to the owner, who at the end of dinner dedicated himself to passionately telling us the history of the place and the particularities of the dough used. The quality of the food is extraordinary, and the service and location are also very good, with a welcoming and refined atmosphere. A place in the center of Cremona that absolutely deserves to be known and frequented. I can't wait to go back!

Excellent place for a different experience

For us one of the best restaurants in Cremona. The linguine with acciughe, lime and stracciatella di burrata was excellent. The fish fried on the skin with fried basil and caponata (melanzane, sedano, pomodori) is also delicious. A discovery, recommended.
