A splendid and magical place! The owners Chicca and Mauro were kind and also prepared a vegetarian menu on the fly. High cuisine and service.
Abundant and delicious first courses, chicory, cream soup, many delicious vegetables and legumes in various sauces.
The desserts are all homemade by them.
Centerpiece with splendid flowers and plants.
When I return to Formello I already know where to eat.
The two owners were really great, they pampered us. The food is plentiful, homemade, you feel at home, welcomed with friendliness and warmth.
I had a pistachio without meat with fresh pasta and a friend of mine had tonnarelli with cherry tomatoes, chicory and farinello (wild spinach, excellent.
The atmosphere and location are wonderful, and the location is evocative and intimate.
House red wine, excellent too.
Honest prices, considering the quality of the dishes, made with love and with products that seemed to have just been picked from the garden.
I advise the owners to perfect the vegan choice.
The inn is located in the center of the town of Formello in front of the town hall. The place is original.
For those who cycle, there is also a way to park their bikes in sight.

We arrived in Formello from the Via Francigena and we couldn't have found a better place. We came across this little place during a screening of a theater show in the square. We felt part of their community in less than 1 hour of staying. The two owners were really great, they pampered us... at the end of dinner it felt like we were talking to two old friends. We hope to meet them again and very soon! The food is plentiful, homemade and you absolutely cannot ask for anything better! Thank you so much guys.

Allora: appena arrivati , una signora, un angelo, per educazione, gentilezza e professionalità ci ha accolti e trovato una soluzione per un tavolo per 4 e si è subito scusata perché avevano solo una porzione di "cicorietta" . Onestà per onestà le ho subito detto che non avevamo così tanta fame e che eravamo andati per "il tagliere degli angeli" . Bene: non so cosa possa essere tutto il resto proposto nel menù ma il tagliere è vero degli "angeli" e il tiramisù "del Paradiso" . Poi aggiungiamoci i ricordi...ed è tutto un altra storia..scriverei per ore commentando ogni cosa..e per ultimo, non ultimo , qualcuno che in zona ha il regolare pagamento con carta di credito

I do not know what to say! It's a spectacular place! We had to go home, but first we decided to have lunch in Formello. By chance we saw this splendid place, in reality everything was fully booked but in the end the owner was very kind and prepared the table for us! Top cuisine! Top service! All is perfect! After taking a walk in the Sorbo park, we arrived here when the place was closing, but the very kind owner let us sit anyway.
What can I say, what a discovery! All excellent. Starters with typical homemade products, very generous first courses, tender sliced beef and delicious chicory. To conclude, a tiramisu with a delicious mascarpone cream and pavesini. The desserts are all homemade by them.
Centerpiece with two beautiful pink gerberas.
If I were to return to Formello, I would already know where to eat!
