Can’t recommend this place enough! The service is beyond excellent, the food is amazing, and the wine incredible. Our server helped us select a wine based on our flavor preferences and price range. Also showed us everything on the onion appetizer (which we LOVED). And our pastas were so fresh and tasty. So far on our trip to Italy, this has been our favorite place. Unfortunately we didn’t try dessert because we were stuffed, but I’m sure it would have been delicious. Definitely try this place!

My partner and I dined at La Lamia restaurant one evening in the second week of July and it was a wonderful experience. This restaurant was highly recommended by our friend Vicky, owner of the delightful Vicky's House B&B in Parghelia, where we stayed for a week.
La Lumia restaurant offers exquisite food, served in an elegant and unique setting. The staff is very kind and professional.
When we return to Tropea, we will definitely dine at La Lamia again.

We had an amazing experience here. The food was beyond amazing and their service is outstanding. If you choose to eat here I highly recommend the onion tasting, it’s an experience you don’t want to miss. I recommend making a reservation beforehand.

Very nice please on a cozy courtyard. It was quite warm there but a little breeze made it more comfortable. The service was very friendly but not very well coordinated. We often had to wait way too long before someone came to take an order.
As for the food:
Rullatine di Melanzane 10/10 GREAT
Fileja con cipole, poverello bianco e pecorino 9/10 VERY TASTY
Polpette 4/10 very dissapointing, not soft enough and too dry at the top (probably a broiler was used)
Polpo alla griglia 7/10 it was very tender but somehow, the smell was off and I think the reason was the grill. It smelled burned.

The restaurant is very beautiful and located in a nice & quiet alley. If you wish to go we recommend reservations as it tends to get quite full after 8pm.
We had not much to complain about, but definitely had a better carbonara & ravioli elsewhere (not in Tropea)

What a lovely restaurant in a beautiful courtyard. Staff were exceptional. Friendly, funny but still professional. Raffaele and Luciano were great. The Tropean onion starter was awesome. I had the pasta with n’duja and burrata which was great and the better half had the seafood pasta which was massive. Great experience and really good night. Grazie 🙏

Posto incantevole e molto romantico. Ci ë stato consigliato dal signore che ci ospita.
Non avevo prenotato ed era tutto pieno. Il signore che prende le prenotazioni ci ha chiesto di tornare in 20 minuti.
Ci hanno dato il tavolo e ci siamo subito sentiti coccolati.
I due ragazzi argentini che servono, sono molto gentili e competenti.
Il menù è molto bello e vario. Tanti piatti, che per noi erano una novità. Tutto estremamente buono , di grande qualità e prezzi adeguati. Complimenti a tutti e tre camerieri e naturalmente un grande elogio alla cucina,. Avete reso il nostro anniversario una serata speciale. :)

Schön im Zentrum gekegen mit grossem Aussenbereich in ruhigem Innenhof. Klassische kalabresische Küche mit sehr guten Fischspezialitäten (Pasta mit Polpo oder Gamberi, auch frischer Fisch). Alles sehr lecker, freundlicher Service und faire Preise. Gerne wieder!
