La Lamia In Tropea

Posto incantevole e molto romantico. Ci ë stato consigliato dal signore che ci ospita. Non avevo prenotato ed era tutto pieno. Il signore che prende le prenotazioni ci ha chiesto di tornare in 20 minuti. Ci hanno dato il tavolo e ci siamo subito sentiti coccolati. I due ragazzi argentini che servono, sono molto gentili e competenti. Il menù è molto bello e vario. Tanti piatti, che per noi erano una novità. Tutto estremamente buono , di grande qualità e prezzi adeguati. Complimenti a tutti e tre camerieri e naturalmente un grande elogio alla cucina,. Avete reso il nostro anniversario una serata speciale. :) …non dimenticare: il bacio.

The seafood pasta wasn't al dente and the mussels were too fishy, but I liked the service and the setting.

This is one of those places that if you are in Tropea and you are a couple you absolutely have to visit. It is a bit away from the chaos of tourists while remaining in the center. The courtyard in the middle of the historic buildings is very characteristic where you can dine by candlelight in a truly pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Needless to say, the food is excellent, the dishes are refined and very good. The raw materials are fresh and you can taste the flavors of the area. The prices are fair and the portions adequate. You absolutely have to try the onion tasting as an entrée (it is out of this world). The service is very attentive and discreet. It really deserves five stars. A special thanks to Annabel who pampered us with small attentions, a sign that she knows how to win over the customer. Well done 💯 Thanks for the beautiful evening 😀

The atmosphere was nice and staff were very friendly. However we waited almost 30 minutes to order although our reservation was at 21:00. The food was quite nice but nothing extraordinary. Portion sizes were on the smaller side and mist dishes lacked seasoning.

I highly recommend this restaurant located in a romantic and intimate little square just outside the noisy comings and goings of tourists with beautiful background music, very friendly staff and delicious food. Thanks again for a lovely evening.

Schön im Zentrum gekegen mit grossem Aussenbereich in ruhigem Innenhof. Klassische kalabresische Küche mit sehr guten Fischspezialitäten (Pasta mit Polpo oder Gamberi, auch frischer Fisch). Alles sehr lecker, freundlicher Service und faire Preise. Gerne wieder!

Best food AND service we had in our little Italy tour. I had a delsih Nduja pasta and the waiters were top notch. Placed in a romantic picturesque courtyard.

Continuing on the Southern Italy tour, don't second guess this restaurant, just get yourself there for some lovely local dishes. The food, service and setting are all exceptional. We' re dining shoulder, would imagine in peak season you will need to book.

My wife and I love Italy and Italian cuisine. For the umpteenth time in Tropea, we discovered La Lamia - that's how you have to call it. Discovered the typical Italian environment in the middle of the old town. Discovered the friendliness of the team and the owner (speaks fluent German and English) lived in Germany until about 2 years ago. Discover the typical Italian dishes, lovingly prepared.
