On the lakeside, great for an aperitif but also dinner, friendly staff, honest prices, I definitely recommend it

Good selection of beers and good sandwiches. The place is adjacent to the campsite of the same name and is located on the lake. Nice place to cool off and enjoy a beer.

We had stayed here for 2 nights on a road trip through Europe and couldn’t believe the site has any bad reviews! The campsite is right on the water with direct access to the water for swimming and electric as well. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive and offered a drink due to a small issue on arrival which is a nice touch. There is a lovely bar and restaurant which serves amazing pizzas at very good prices !! Overall I would stay here again if I was in the como area! 10/10

Very nice and cozy camp on Lake Como with about 20 places. Larger campers cannot fit here. There are not many campsites here so this is one of the few. The only disadvantage is that the place is located on a busy road. A very positive thing, however, is that the place has its own beach. There are not many swimming areas and beaches on Como so this is perfect. Quite ok toilets.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were lucky to spend four days and three nights at Camping La Fornace — and it truly felt like a gift. There were three of us: me, my mother, and my two kids (aged 5 and 11). From the very beginning, we felt like we had arrived at a special place. The campsite is shady and cool, with a wonderful view and direct access to the lake. We set up our tent under the trees and hung up our hammocks — my son even slept in one! There were absolutely no mosquitoes, which was amazing, and we could just relax and enjoy the breathtaking lake view. Every morning we would step out of the tent and jump straight into the clean, crystal-clear water — you could see everything beneath you. Jumping off the dock and swimming quickly became one of our favorite things to do. When we felt like exploring, we could walk to a nearby village and take a boat ride on the lake, or drive to a small town not far away and go hiking in the mountains. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help. They showed us how to use the showers and washing facilities — everything was easy and welcoming. The campsite felt safe for the kids, and the whole atmosphere was calm and relaxed. There was also a bar where you could get a reasonably priced pizza, drinks, or breakfast. We also rented a small canoe and a SUP board for a very fair price, and had the most beautiful time paddling across the lake and taking in the views. The only downside was the traffic noise — the road nearby is quite narrow and you could hear passing cars. But honestly, that didn’t spoil our experience at all. La Fornace is a lovely, soulful place — and we definitely hope to return next summer. With love and gratitude from all three of us! ❤️

Great stop over on the lake, food drink service perfect just a bit noisy later on might have after hour parties ?? Worth a stay either way
