A must-try in any season, the authentic, excellent home-cooked cuisine. In summer, handmade fettuccine and grilled roasts reign supreme. In autumn and winter, the polenta reigns supreme, truly unsurpassed. Highly recommended, also for a lovely stroll through the village and the adjacent castle.

Very friendly, generous portions, but otherwise everything was very basic. We expected the price to be more in line with the setting.

Great place to eat an ancient and delicious polenta like once upon a time... The meat is also good, not to mention the liqueur that is made especially for the restaurant and is excellent... We will return, €24 per person, mixed roast polenta, side dishes, bitters, coffee and wine

Taverna La Cauta is one of those places that are remembered with pleasure. Genuine food, few dishes but carefully chosen and cooked to perfection. The quality can be felt from the first taste: excellent meat, superb first courses, with authentic and well-balanced flavours. A special mention to Lucia, the waitress: always smiling, very attentive to customers and service, she really makes you feel at home. All framed by a warm welcome and a breathtaking view that makes the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended for those looking for sincere cuisine, in a place that smells of tradition and passion.
