La Casetta Di Iris "Magnendi e Passizendi" In Palau

The owner is very nice. I ate a lot of delicious food here, especially the dumplings and potato dumplings, which were all homemade by the owner and the prices were very reasonable!

A superb little gem of a restaurant, right by the square- You can order inside and then sit at one of the little tables outside. The food was so good that we went back the next day to try some other goodies. Excellent beef stew, shrimp salad, Lasagna and eggplant Parmesan. Everything is prepared by the Charming couple. It’s Like going to nonna’s for lunch!

Be careful, the starters are priced per 100g, not per serving, which can cause some confusion. The octopus salad is delicious, like ceviche, but if you're not careful, you'll get the octopus salad 😂. Without further ado, it's a tough spot if you're in a hurry. Things aren't exactly cheap in Palau either... A Coca-Cola is one of the cheapest at €3.50, for example. The place itself is all about grabbing the food they have on display, either by serving or weight. They put it on a tray and you take it with you. To collect it, you pick it up yourself, like a food truck.

A warm welcome. Excellent food. Cooked vegetables, lasagna, chicken... good value for money. Small terrace for enjoying.

We had dinner outdoors, and everything was delicious and excellent, home-cooked. Highly recommended!

A caponata that will blow your mind! The octopus and ravioli with super cheese are also excellent!!

Great place to try some typical local food at a reasonable price. No luxury but home made food for a quick bite on the central square.

Good food, but the portions are really small for the price. Friendly staff and a very pleasant atmosphere.

THE BEST PLACE IN ALL OF SARDINIA. I toured all the restaurants and agriturismi in Sardinia on my honeymoon, but none, and I mean NONE, matched the quality of this place's products. I never write reviews, but this one deserves it. The ravioli with ricotta and sugar in tomato sauce will remain in my heart, as will the porceddu, seadas, and culirgiones (I don't know how to spell them). Don't let the ambiance fool you, because no one would stop you, but let yourself be guided by your love for the quality of the products. I hope it's useful to many... È il terzo anno che veniamo dalla Casetta di Iris , ed ogni anno ci stupisce con i suoi piatti!! Consigliatissima la Fregola di Mare !! Ormai è la nostra tappa fissa ogni estate !!! Consigliamo a tutti di passarci per assaggiare le specialità Sarde e passare una piacevole serata in questo suggestivo locale nel centro di Palau!!
