La Casbah In Sanremo

The spicy peppers were delicious. Otherwise it wasn't to my taste.

An authentic and welcoming experience thanks to smartbox! We used a smartbox and found ourselves in this little corner of Morocco in the heart of Sanremo. The Casbah is run by a kind Moroccan gentleman who welcomed us with great warmth and helpfulness. Before dinner we took advantage of a nice tasting of typical North African sweets made from the heart accompanied by a hookah (chicha!) Love flavor which is a mixture of fruit, which lasts no more than half an hour (for 1 person among other things). Then we ordered dinner and enjoyed a plentiful and delicious couscous, with cooked vegetables, a spicy and very good North African sausage, a balanced and authentic spicy flavour. All accompanied by an excellent mint tea, served as tradition dictates. The environment is simple but refined, full of details that make you feel like you are traveling and the atmosphere is relaxed and familiar. It was a special moment lived with calm and genuineness. Highly recommended for those who want a sincere and unconventional experience. We will gladly return!

All the starters were reheated in the microwave... which we could hear from the dining room... The dish was okay, but the meat was substandard... Lots of fake reviews (probably from friends who regularly gave 10/10s with the same profiles) that misled us. Poor hygiene in the restroom... Too bad. First and last time...

I went with my partner to spend Christmas Eve and it was the best decision! The owner is very friendly and the place has a lot charm, the food dishes are abundant and delicious. When we finished we went down for a shisha with pastries and a very delicious tea. A dinner of 10. Thank you!!!

Very warm welcome in a typical Moroccan setting, we were very well served, the harira soup was super good and the couscous was very good. I recommend this little restaurant where we had a great time

First typical dinner and then tasting in the tea room with desserts and hookah, all really excellent! Experience that I recommend.
