We celebrated my son's communion and everything was impeccable. I highly recommend it. Try the cod and the torta pellecchiella del Vesuvio.

In the historic center of Somma Vesuviana, a welcoming and delicate restaurant. Stockfish and cod in traditional and refined form. We were served by Luigi who had the ability to make us feel at the center of the world

Very nice place, excellent food especially the cod, cooked in all sauces, owner and staff attentive, kind and very professional. Honest prices for the high quality of the food and service offered. Definitely coming back.

I was there for the Christmas greetings lunch with the office. All based on cod and stockfish. I recommend the trio; then you absolutely must taste the parmigiana. After these appetizers I recommend as first courses: the Genovese and the pacchero. For the second course, roasted and fried cod. Sweet. The excellent quality of the food and expert hands who make everything from appetizers to desserts with cod will delight your palate. Excellent wine list. We accompanied everything with Gewürztraminer from Alto Adige. Excellent service with Luigi (if I remember correctly) the owner very attentive to all the needs of the table. Elegant venue. Reservation recommended. 5 stars all deserved.

02/07/2025: It's a lovely restaurant with excellent service and goo# food. Their octopus potato salad is very good and is their grilled squid. Also, the tomato salad was with some of the tastiest tomatoes I've ever had. Highly recommend as a casual restaurant with excellent food. We ate there twice this time in Sorrento and multiple times on our last trip.

11/06/2025: When I was a kid, the real van was the alternative to the many pubs in the area and among other things, pizza was its strong point. After decades, I return to a renovated and well-finished restaurant with space both outside and inside and I venture into the cistecca route. I have truly never tasted better bread. Soft and moist with the right amount of filling, it made stopping at the van something truly pleasant in terms of taste and refinement of good flavors. The place is well-structured but nothing exceptional and it is really hot outside, better inside with air conditioning. Basic and small bathrooms. Well-managed parking service. Definitely worth returning
10/06/2025: Very generous portions, and quality products. The homemade croquettes are delicious. The "cistecche" are excellent: in my opinion, the "Kvarastecca" and the "Messicanino" win over everything! Friendly staff, spacious place with indoor and outdoor seating, and parking.
